The Unicorn Harvester in Havering

Had to send back 2 meals. I was served chicken raw on the inside and my husband was served a steak that was half gristle. The steak was well cooked but really poor quality a sign of the business buying on cost not quality but not reflecting it on the menu prices. My husband is Diabetic and needed to eat but had his meal delayed which wasn't good. I would have given 1 star because raw chicken is a mistake that should never happen and is a dangerous mistake! The 2 stars is because the serving staff we're lovely and helpful.

The food was absolutely lovely and cooked perfectly. But what absolutely made our time there great was our waitress Tessa. She was absolutely amazing, attentive, polite, accommodating to all our needs. A completely honest, down to earth and genuine woman. Its been a long time since we've met someone so lovely working in the hospitality industry. So for that reason, we will definitely be back again.

Two stars , mainly because this Harvester is a hit and miss affair . One morning breakfast is awesome the next it is dire , Take a chance - you might never go back .Revisited. Greatly improved. Breakfast very scrumptious indeed. Hash browns great. If I had runny poached eggs the breakfast would have been perfect.

Often come here, food is good. Service is fantastic. Have been served by Tessa quite a few times. She is helpful, friendly, attentive, always has a lovely smile. Nothing is too much. She makes that place.

They were so busy that they ran out of the chicken l wanted. Families were noisy and messy but staff coped well Nice meal and good value. Will come at lunch time another day!

Came in on Friday lunch. Was served by the lovely Leiane. Food was lovely and hot. Brownie was delicious. Service was quick. Nothing was too much trouble for her will definitely be returning.

The gidea park branch is terrible. Waitress was slow and when ordering drinks she would get one drink order from one person then run off missing people in our party. She did this 3 times. The restaurant was not busy. My onion ring was cold, asked for a new one and the same one came back which looked as though it went in a microwave. No waitress in sight after waiting for 20 minutes so we brought it to the kitchen ourselves and then got a new one. The steaks were cold and not cooked so I didn't eat mine and brought it home for the dog instead. I ended up sharing a meal with my daughter. I would have spoke to any waitress but no where to be seen and the rest of the party would have finished their meals off. We asked for lemon for the party that had fish and the waitress gave us two thin slices of lemon. The whole set up was a nightmare from beginning to end. My bday meal with my family was ruined. Would never return to this branch. Oh and when we did ask to speak to the manager we were in sight of the waitress waving her hands and moaning about us to one of her colleagues behind the bar. Unprofessional.

The guy who served us, I believe his name was James. He was such a lovely guy. The food wasn't very good but he did compensate my friend with a free dessert. I'm also a bit upset that they have decided to stop having onion in the salad. They now only have pickled onion which is a big shame.

Last minute decision to eat out with my Daughter this afternoon and the service was fabulous.Our waitress (Leeann) was very cheerful and helpful.Took our food and drink orders .. showed us to the salad bar and filled our bowls full of our choices.Merry Christmas 🎄

Today's experience in this place wasn't good. This place wasn't even busy yet! other costumers were seated after my dad & I & even had their food orders served up. One female waitress kept saying to my dad & I that the waitress be over in a minute how long were we waiting for 10/15 minutes later eventually the female waitress turned up to take our orders. Two (2) dissatisfied customers we won't be going to the Harvester again! The one in Hornchurch superbly better when it comes to service.
