Went to Friends wake held at Top Meadow and Buffet Food was lovely, well presented on the tables ,good quality and variety of choice and would recommend it for any type of occasion ,i.e. celebrations, anniversary, birthday etc

First the members are very welcoming to visitors and the course has an interesting layout. I struggled at times to find my way to the next tee so a few more signs would help.The greens had just been hollow cored so putting was slow and quite bumpy, i understand this is part of maintenance, just some golf clubs give a small discount when this has just been done. One last issue was slow play but the course is good value for money though with some great views.

Went to venue for afternoon tea. When we entered the place was full and the hustle and bustle was slightly overwhelming but once seated the atmosphere became quite fabulous. The service from the staff was extremely impressive. Attentive but not intrusive. Efficient and friendly made the experience exceptional for the very reasonable price. Afternoon tea was impressive with four rather large different filling packed finger sandwiches, 3 plates of finger pastries and cakes, a large hot fruit scone with loads of jam and clotted cream mmm. The Tea and coffee was also unlimited and regularly refilled. The other meals that were being served around us looked really delicious and I am looking forward to trying some on return visits. In fact was so good I have booked tea again for my birthday with friends.
