Had a really enjoyable meal with my son last night, sat in there for 4 hours and wasn't rushed at all. Ice cold cobra and lovely food. Couldn't find a single fault. Our first and definitely not our last visit. Thanks 👍

Good selection of food served by friendly staff

Take away arrived an hour late and cold. Was given an acceptable 1 hour wait but was getting on for 2 hours when it arrived. Always nice to have complimentary poppadoms but a shame they were smashed into little pieces. Fobbed off when I phoned. Its a shame, I usually rate them highly and the food was good once it was reheated. Looking for a new favourite Indian takeaway.

Food was nice as per usual. However please be warned that when perusing the menu you are given the take away menu (apparentlyfor covid reasons), which obviously shows prices, yet when the bill comes at the end there is a drastic price increase of around £30. A table of 5, 2 adults, one teen and 2 children, 5 large non alcoholic beverages one adult had a selection of 3 starters as their main, the 2 children shared a curry, rice and bread there was 2 additions curry's and rice's, breads, poppadoms. This order would normally of come to £46-50 on the take away menu prices (the same one that is given to you to choose from when you eat in) yet this bill came in at £96. Obvs slightly shocked I looked through the menu, to see what could of caused such an increase or to see if there was an error, to then be told that they are not the prices that are being used, that is just the take away menu and prices and its more expensive to sit and eat in. Yet the prices that are being charged are not disclosed to the customer nor is the fact that the prices they are showing you on the menu they give you aren't the prices they will be charging. Obvs the bill was paid, i have mentioned to them that it isn't fair on the consumer that they are with holding this information furthermore it is illegal to do this, as the consumer rights they have the right to refuse to pay as they should only pay the price that is displayed. If there was an incident of refusal to pay and the police were to be called legally the customer would only have to pay the price they were showed. Overall like I said before food was nice but I'm really disappointed in the post covid operation of business they are now running.

Lovely Curry House with good food and great prices. Fantastic friendly staff too. I've had meals there once or twice a year for about a dozen years and it has been consistently good every time. I'm not a "foodie" or a curry expert but I do feel that the food, service and atmosphere at Uraswamys make for a great dining experience.

Second time having takeaway from this place. Each dish had a different flavour and was great. Very reasonably priced considering the quality and quantity of the food. Recommend a visit
