What a lovely experience. My girlfriend enjoyed her birthday so much. We couldn't ask for anything better for her birthday. We had our food and drinks in the lounge and then we moved to the club. Both places are such a vibe. Aura is a different realm you enter when you visit the place. I will be bringing my girlfriend again. Shout out to JayP who took care of us from the start till end. AURA you are a vibe.

We had a table booked here for a friends birthday last September, there was about 10 of us. From the outside it looks as though the place is closed or doesn't exist but once you find the door and enter the decor is amazing, its definitely instagram worthy. The cocktails are 10/10 they taste amazing and some come in really cool funky glasses. Food was stunning, most of us had chicken with rice and salad and at first glance the portions don't look that big but its more than enough, my plate felt never ending as no matter how much I ate there was still loads of food on my plate, I shared mine with the birthday boy. The restaurant has a really good vibe from start to finish front to back. The music was on point and like I said from the entrance to the toilets the dance floor and the restaurant part the decor was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed taking pics throughout the place.

It can be hard to get hold of the venue to make a large group booking. They do not return calls.Once I did get through and make a booking, the communication seemed really good. A deposit was required, which was not a problem until it was not taken off of our bill. We queried it, and then they removed part of the amount paid, not the full amount. After asking for the bill a third time, they then asked what deposit we had paid despite requiring a screenshot of the payment and text confirmation of the amount in the booking process. We were told upfront would only have the table for 2.5 hours but informed we could move into the club area. Despite only booking the day before, at no time were we advised that we would need to pay to enter the club area.We had the set menu option 2. The food was good. There is plenty of food served in each course; however, we were given the option 1 food instead of 2. When we raised this, we were originally challenged, and then the staff bought out some of the missing items, not all. As a group of 9 the extra £90 for 2-3 prawns per person across starters and mains, in my opinion, was not worth it as other items were missing. We did not receive the spicy potato and one of the starters. The mains were good; however, it seemed like the food was on the grill a little longer than it should have been, and the meats and prawns were overcooked. While eating dessert and waiting for our bill, the next group came to our table stating they had booked the table as they were waiting. We were not finished for reasons beyond our control and had to explain that we were waiting for the bill. This was a bit unprofessional to let them through the restaurant to do this.Despite some of these issues, I would recommend The Aura.

Never go there in big groups. The manager is rude and demanded we leave the table due to there mess up of overbooking. We had to have our desserts in the night club with no plates or spoons. They charged £100 for four sparklers. The customer service was atrocious and poor they lacked communication and didn’t enjoy the experience and would never go back here again. The food wasn’t that great either.

The Aura is lit. Came here on a Sunday thinking iy would be chill but they had a saxophone player. A saxophone player ffs. VIBES 🔥. The food was the type you wanted after a night out clubbing. To die for. Vishal was our server and he was so kind. Honestly guys come here. It was also packed so the vibe was high. Thank you THE AURA for helping me celebrate my birthday

I booked my table online 20mins before arrival, but it did look like they would have space for walk-ins, 8pm Thurs evening. Very nicely decorated, the DJ was amazing!! The heater system is great, I didn't feel cold at all. Drinks were half price - I'm not sure why. I had the lamb burger which was delicious, and a mango mocktail. Very filling. I did see some people order a dry ice decorated dessert which looked fun. And a few birthdays - the staff come out with candles and birthday music. The shisha was great, smooth, disposal pipes - Using a heat management system, lasted 2hrs. I would visit again.

More for aesthetics? In? Terms of the special fruit infused shisha it wasjokay but not that special for £50 aswell its Mainly for the looks. The normal shisha pipes were a Bit better. The decor was really? Nice with tropical rainforest vibes. The pasta was okay but i got the chicken pasta i didn't expect a bowl of pasta with a side of chicken, that didn't have too much flavour the pasta wasn't bad but didn't have tons or flavour, was expecting a rich creamy chicken pasta,. Was a bit disappointed. Cocktails were okay the berry one was better than The mango tasted mainly like rubicon mango. The dessert was okay but they gave us one which was a bit burnt so we Asked for a New one. Overall nice experience decent shisha but mainly for aesthetics.

1. The communication is the worst I've ever seen in this place. I've been trying to call for 2 days and they couldn't even pick up. Which is embarrassing.2. The restaurant looked closed from the outside which felt uncomfortable as I tried to open the door and it was 5pm but it was locked and no one was opening the door until 5:10pm. Our booking was at 5pm. They made us wait outside for 10 minutes. They even answered the door and still didn't open.3. The interior design is nice however it was a bit too dark.4. The golden prawns that cost around £10 was just tempura prawns from Iceland... And it was just 4 prawns already dipped in different sauces which I didn't understand why they would do that because the dip wasn't even good and we couldn't choose the dip.5. Also the lamb shwarma could definitely be better. They were cold too.Overall I'd say that there r better places to eat. Aura is better for pictures rather than the service...

They have done well with this place, it really is a little gem in the heart of Sudbury. ID is requested on the way in and during busy times you need to book. From the entrance through to the restaurant it is a instagramers picture heaven. Our waitress Andrea was beautiful as well as her personality very warm, friendly and chatty. Took our order and had great knowledge of the menu and cocktails. She was able to suggest a variation that was not on the cocktail menu which is great as it shows excellent customer service and attentiveness, it came promptly as well as our starters and main. Prawns were to die and the beetroot sauce that was one of the 4 dips you get with the prawns was perfection we had lamb chops and the lamb shawarma all were very tasty. The decor and music at this venue is on point and the evening entertainment was a nice touch and you can order shish to your table, it really made you feel like you were in a Mayfair restaurant. Don't let the surroundings outside the venue fool you as when you walk in you are in another dimension. It has a big club area which you can go to after you eat apparently gets very bust from about 12 as they close at 3am if your into that, I am not. Will be back for food again most definitely as the food was delightful and the customer service from our waiters and servers Andrea, John and Henry was wonderful, there was another great young lady but didn't get her name. This is a place you must visit at least once.
