Blue Ginger in Hillingdon

I've ordered from here twice recently. Food tastes really nice, however I was disappointed with some of the portion sizes, specifically with the main curry dish. I ordered a chicken tikka garlic, and the foil dish it came in was barely half full, with only about 4 chunks of chicken. Thought it was a one off, but ordered again last night and same thing happened. As I said, the food itself plus service was great but if you're charging £12 for a dish, you simply can't get away with supplying small portions lke that, sorry. Will try a 3rd time again soon, but if same happens again I'll likely avoid moving forward

Absolutely delicious! Stayed at a hotel near Heathrow and didn’t like the look of the hotel menu. I fancied Indian and I narrowed it down to to this! The onion bahji, tarka dalh, mushroom rice and king prawn coconut curry were absolutely sublime! Fish tikka wasn’t so great. I’ll 100% order from here again!

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Definitely the best local curry house delivery service in our area. And for those who are old school like me, go old school and phone your order over, pay by cash and make sure you give them a tip. Very highly recommended.

I ordered from just eat and there was a mistake with the order but no longer had I finished my starter the restaurant was at the door with the mistake rectified. EXCELLENT SERVICE. brilliant food generous portions would highly recommend ordering from hereThanks Blue Ginger

Great food, I can definitely recommend this place if you’re a fan of spicy food. Good portion size, great sauces & nice staff.

Excellent quality food. Rogan josh had no heat but the flavour was delicious! Meats, very good cuts. Breads nicely done. Overall very happy!

Really impressed with everything we got from here on a late night Saturday order for 6. Tasty, hot, good meat ratio and nice mild-but-tasty on the mild dishes we ordered for the kids. Fast delivery and great menu selection too. 10/10 would use again.

Tried checking out this restaurant and ordered via just eat, but this was a complete waste of money. This restaurant should not even get a one star rating. May be -3 atleast. I ordered 3 items and hear is my review> Tandoori King Prawn Masala --> This was like a dessert. Too much sweet more than the sweetness of icecream/jam. It was disgusting to eat this one especially. Called restaurant to tell about this, but they are not accepting the mistake they have done. If its too much sweet add it in dessert section. There may be chances that the chef might have added more sugar by mistake but the person who spoke doesnt want to listen the concern rather she told that the dish itself is like that and we have made a wrong choice of order. This is not the right way to accept feedback from customers.Garlic Chingry--> This was too much watery, more like a curry and the item is mentioned in starters. No taste ! it was just prawns cooked with lot of water and onion.Chicken Nugget --> This was stale, threw it with one bite. Not sure how many days or years this was refrigerated.Lamb Chops Starter --> This was too much color with not fully cooked. The meat was too hard to bite on.

Excellent Indian restaurant....probably the best on in and around Uxbridge area. They also deliver which is great. The food is fairly priced, really good quality, authentic and mild (not too spicy). This is our regular Indian takeaway place.

Absolutely awful food. The salad was not fresh, the butter paneer was a disgusting orangey/pink colour (They use food colouring in their dishes and there is no allergen warning on their menu), which lacked flavour. As for the over priced tikka fish starter, it is not worth the price. Blue Ginger will never get business from me again, and I have reported this to the Food Standards Agency. If you don't want food poisoning, don't order from this dump.
