Cafe Italia in Hillingdon

Wonderful, authentic food. Very decent portion and very tasty. I was the only person dining in at the time, the gentleman serving me was fantastic but the lady who took my dessert option, forgot to tell the kitchen. After 20mins I asked where it was and they provided another drink free of charge. This was generous but I would've preferred the dessert be free as I really didn't want another cocktail. I cant fault anything else, the food was truly delicious, the decor and layout had an authentic feeling and I would definitely visit again. I would've liked to have seen a few more pasta dishes on the menu but that's a personal choice.

Pretty place, nice cocktails, calamari starter was lovely. My main (seafood linguine) was shocking. No sauce and missing 3 ingredients. If it at least tasted decent I wouldn't have been so upset but it was overcooked and watery. Couldn't have been further from an authentic Italian. Ended up taking 2 bites and sending it back. Service took ages and we waited around 40 minutes for our starter.Unfortunately I would not return. Ruined valentines day for me.

Came here on valentines and overall a dissapointing experience. First the positives: Cocktails were fantastic, staff were friendly and the calamari starter was amazing. The decorations were also very nice for valentines day.The negatives: the pizza was average, dough was good but it had far too much cheese and not enough toppings.The seafood linguine my partner ordered was terrible. Was missing 3 ingredients from the menu and it had no sauce and was generally tasteless and watery.Finally, the service was slow and we waited around 40mins just for the starter. Usually I would put this down to a busy restaurant but honestly they were not even packed.It was very unfortunate especially on valentines day.I would recommend to come for the bar but probably not the food unless you get the calamari!

Can't be bothered to write a long review.Female (Manager?), the most horrible person to be in a customer service business. No clues what she was doing, mistakes with the bills, made me overpay and did not even say sorry or admit her faults. Argued until the end, even when the bartender admitted it was her fault: this manager wouldn't even give me a refund?Gave me a free 2 cocktails card when she couldn't argue anymore.. This review needed to be posted here. Whoever's in charge should just find a new manager for the place..

Fabulous venue with amazing staff and oh my god, the cocktails! Theres truly nothing I can fault! Definitely will be recommending to my friends.

First time visiting in a very long time. There has been a change of management and what an improvement!Great service, amazing atmosphere!Food was sooooooo delicious, cocktails were flowing..You can just see its so well managed and honestly.. Well done!

I had the pleasure of Djing at this amazing bar on Thursday 09/12/21 and I look forward to partying with the amazing people of Uxbridge and the lovely staff at Bar Italia again soon.

I visited Bar Italia for a friends hen party and it was such a great afternoon. We had the bottomless brunch and everyone’s food was amazing! The cocktails were also delicious; we even stayed for a couple more after. Every time I have been to Bar Italia, the service is always great, I highly recommend!

Manager was terrible. Was extremely rude and not professional at all. We booked in before and made sure to drop by 2 days before to make sure that we got a table near a TV (it was euro final). They even said they’d bring in a projector and more TVs to show the match(which they didn’t!). When we arrived they made us sit at the back where we couldn’t even see anything. They also charged us 10% “cover charge” which is the first time I’ve ever heard of that. It’s a complete rip off. The drinks are not even worth the price, they serve in small thin glasses. NOT WORTH THE PRICE. They also kept sending bills before sending over the food. Kept sending separate bills throughout the night instead of one bill for the table. Not a good experience overall. Terrible manager. Terrible.Reply to the owners comment- the tables were no where near social distancing (check the picture below) we never left without paying the bill. We were sent so many bills throughout the night, we didn’t even noticed what we paid for. How can a person keep track of the game and pay 10 different bills separately? Also the manager called and apologised. Offered us free champagne/wine. She was very apologetic for the behaviour and explained that they had no idea that they would have a big crowd that night. She also mentioned that I wasn’t the only person complaining about the cover charge. So I guess the problem isn’t the customer, it’s the management.Shows how professional your management is looking at the responses in some of the reviews.Good day!UPDATEThe manager called me several times in two weeks.
