Cafe Rouge - Ruislip in Hillingdon

Unfortunately it's not good like it used to be. Food is OK (overdone egg for my fish cake, salmon was also overdone, burger was tasty but again overdone, portions are smaller...etc) it needs to be great to justify the price. Hope they improve.

Cosy atmosphere, food was hot and tasty. Had the chicken with mushroom sauce and veg. Good portion size but veg didn't taste completely fresh. Perhaps reheated, I'm not sure but a bit of a 'clinical' taste. Wasn't the quickest service although we didn't mind as we weren't in a rush. Would go back.

Visited for brunch with friends, food was good, nice atmosphere, the only thing which let them down was the service was very slow and we had to ask for ketchup several times before it arrived. It wasn't busy so it was a bit confusing as to why they were so slow.

Been coming to this pub since the 90’s! Love the Cafe Rouge takeover, brings back memories. The food is always excellent. I was only let down on this occasion because they had run out of my fave starter, the French Onion Soup. :(

I had the worst experience of my life, I have never felt so uncomfortable. It was supposed to be a special dinner, I was with my fiance, we were attended by a girl named Kaya who was super disrespectful and inconvenient. The manager Candy is very kind, unfortunately we were not lucky enough to be served by her. Anyway I loved the food, super romantic atmosphere and the wine menu is spectacular.

Service was good, loved the presentation of the meal. The decor was welcoming.

We went for a brunch on boxing day and we liked the ambiance . About the food , the English breakfast was good but was surprised that I could not order one fried and one poached egg for a plate, it had to be both same .We didn’t like the beverages much , the cappuccino and hot chocolate were much thinner compared to other cafésParking is available for customers.

I visited this delicate, chic and quiet restaurant yesterday with my son ( 12 years old ), for the first time.We felt so very warm welcomed, the staff is really amazing, so friendly and smiling...We both loved Ioana 😍 , she is the most sweetest, professional and so close to people.Excellent customer service!Food was great as well.Thank you Café Rouge Ruislip!We will definitely come back!

Our last visit wasn't so great but this time was much better. Reasonably priced 3 course meal for the kids and decent coffee. It was the service though that made the difference. The staff were all very attentive and friendly and created a great atmosphere, particularly Candy who was lovely with the kids. I'm not one for chains usually but we'd go again. It's got a decent garden and its own car park out the back too.
