Great place, proper punjabi food and the great thing is you can bring your own alcohol and drink there which makes it very cost effective

I loved the food here, they get really busy within' the local community, but are always honest and reliable so will let you know how long your order will be if you are ordering takeaway. The boss Amish was is often working and is a testament to how to run a great business. Food wise, the meat is top quality and probably the best chicken I have had at an Indian restaurant. Lamb was also tender and delicious, some reviewers have said the food is too hot, so simply ask for a milder curry. I found everything I had here the week I visited was superb, Murgh Madras, Karahi chicken, Lamb aloo, all amazing. Sundries such as naan were perfect, the samosas were great value. A fantastic place, I wish I lived nearby..

I allways order my food here as their Veg samosa's are consistently good, crunchy on the outside, and soft veg filling on inside, and just the right amount of spice. Their red coloured chutney is to-die-for, and the only reason I keep coming back for more. Would recommend again and again.....

Our go to place for Punjabi food. Always excellent. They don't sell alcohol but you're welcome to bring your own. You are asked to buy soft drinks from Desi. I would give 5 stars but their card machine wasn't working so I had to pay to withdraw cash from the shop next door. Tip. Call and ask beforehand.

Great authentic Punjabi food where spicy means spicy! The place can be very busy weekend evenings and extremely noisy. The waiters used to stop serving every half hour or so and start dancing in the middle of the restaurant. Haven't seen this happen for a while but a novelty for some! The daal makhani, chicken saag or karahi chicken are all amazing dishes here... If you're a fan of lamb then go for the lamb taka tak or keema peas! Combine this with a garlic chilli naan and onion salad and it transports you to the heart of Punjab! If you can tolerate the noise here at busy times... the food really is second to none. With an off licence literally next door, this is a popular choice for those who aren't allowed to drink at home or those that keep getting into trouble for drinking too much! Bring your own booze is allowed here and will probably enhance your dining experience... Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are good. Parking is limited on the side and back streets but you will usually find a spot. The card payment machine works about 50% of the time so do check before ordering as you may end up washing the dishes if you don't have the cash! 🤪

I had one of the most beautiful time in this restaurant. It was my second time here and it was my birthday day. My partner and my children were accompanying me and we all loved the food and our waiter Firoz was extremely friendly and comunicative! Looking forward to have an enjoyable evening there again soon!Thank you, Firoz. You have made our evening and especially was my birthday xx

Best curry I’ve had outside of Leicester (bless). This is a legit Punjabi joint that serves some of the best tasting curry you can get. It’s a no frills environment that focuses on atmosphere and authentic food. I’m fussy with Indian food, but this place was consistent across every dish. Top tier.

This authentic Punjabi restaurant serves excellent cuisines with a great variety of choices on the menu. The food was served promptly and portion sizes were excellent. The food was freshly prepared and had great flavour. You have the option for spicy or mild for most if not all of the items. There is great choice for vegetarian food although the desserts menu could be expanded in comparison to other Punjabi restaurants. The staff were attentive and there is a homely atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend visiting with young children after 9pm as some of common customers tend to use inappropriate language at times. There is no on site parking and the local streets have restricted parking zones. However, there is parking within a few minutes of the restaurant. As a tip, ask for butter to accompany all your dishes, adds more flavour.
