Lomito in Hillingdon

Shocking. Sitting and watching how the kitchen staff handle the food with their bare hands and even eating off the plates that they serve to the customers. Ask for your fillet medium rare and get it well done. Places like this won't survive long. The management have CCTV to see all that I am talking about as I saw the cameras watching them. You would think that would be enought to put them off doing it, or perhaps the just don't care.

Lomito is a restaurant is highly recommend. From start to finish I was highly satisfied. As soon as I walked in we were greeted with lovely hospitality and taken to our seats. The lady who took our orders for the night was lovely and pleasant throughout our visit and made us aware of the valentines special at the time. The pork belly was a lovely dish for the starter and was cooked to perfection. Next up the lamb chops for the main which were excellently cooked and lovely. Finally the white chocolate cheese cake was a lovely little dessert to finish off the meal. Can I just say the lady who served us on valentines day evening was based downstairs. She was a blonde lady and extremely pleasant. Please give her credit!

Thanks for another brilliant meal. Steaks, lamb chops and salmon were all amazing. Staff were excellent. The bar has been set high. Looking forward to our next visit.

An up-market steak house in the heart of Northwood. A party of 8 for a family celebration. The food was adequate but really nothing special considering the premium prices. I guess it is understandable that vegetarians are poorly catered for but in 2022, I think they could do better than a burger of indeterminate ingredients that tried to fake the look and mouth feel of meat. Overall OK but not good enough to justify the cost.

Sorry to have to give this review.I ordered a 300g fillet steak (£39) cooked medium. It arrived very rare, so I informed the staff and they offered to 'cook it more'. When it arrived again it was still very rare. I let the lady know and she proceeded to tell me that it is almost medium. When I pressed her on this and explained that I had many many steaks at medium (and even googled it), she explained that it is only rare because they didn't butterfly the fillet when they normally should. So for some reason they incorrectly cooked the steak, then cooked it more (again incorrectly) and then tried to convince me that it was fine - then they finally explain why it wasn't fine?Really atrocious steak, service (extremely slow) and staff logic.I am confident that it was a bad day, but my experience today was probably the worst I've had at a restaurant at this price point (and even cheaper steakhouses).They let me take the steak off the bill and gave a complimentary dessert which was very nice of them, but today for me, was a 1*.

the best steaks in the UK that i've ever tasted. you won't get questioned when you request it to be cooked blue either. a true steak connoisseur! their cocktails are also amazing as well! a great experience every time.

I strongly recommend coming to Lobito at Northwood. The best place we have tried so far in the area. They have a nice variety of wines and the food was lovely. I went there with my husband for a late lunch on a Sunday. Everything tasted and looked yummy and fresh! They also have a bar downstairs and a separate room if you want to throw a private party. The overall was lovely with a rustic decor. Mohamed our waiter was so nice, gave us a great service and he was lovely to chat to! Well done for that staff service which always makes the difference. We’ll come back, definitely 👏🏼

Very nice steak but is on the expensive side. Lovely wine and cocktail selection. You do get a very decent sized salad with your steak 👍. The fillet was so tender. 👌

Amazing food and service! Been here twice in a short period and served by Mo who is so friendly and welcoming. Great ambience, perfect for family dinners or date nights! Highly recommend to all :)
