Stobys fish and chips in Hillingdon

Placed an order through just eat 1 hour before my lunch break. 25 minutes after it was due I called the shop to find out what's going on, only to be hung up on 3 time and the only sense I got between the him talking to other people in the shop while I was on the phone was "will be half hour more" this would have been over 2 hours from ordering. Absolutely terrible customer service, would have given no star if I could.

Food took well over the suggested delivery times, app said it had been delivered but took another 20 minutes, when it finally did arrive it wasn’t the correct order, kids are distraught and the driver was unapologetic, nobody answers the phone so can’t speak to anyone about this. Disgraceful

Terrible professionalism, spoke with a worker over the phone to deliver a order that was of a substantial amount and promised order would arrive, waited over 1hr 30 mins for arrival and called many times without the restaurant picking up.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I would have given it no stars if I could. Went there today. Got a donner kebab. The guy had started cutting my meat off the donner grill without it being on so I kindly asked if it was hot he replied yes only just turned it off before you walked in. No questions asked I believed.After waiting 5 minutes hes put my meat in the pitta then put in the MICROWAVE. So I asked did you just put my kebab in a microwave he said its a machine for texture...I said tell me the truth did you put it in a microwave he replied yes. On top of that I only asked for onions and I magically got all salad.Waste of money. If I want a microwave kebab I'll go get the £1 from Iceland.as a customer I believe in paying money for good food not to be microwaved or lied too.I recommend do not waste your money. The village chip shop hillingdon is worth it just not open Sundays.

Liars. Rude and terrible service. Lied repeatedly on phone, Didn’t seem to have the order, lied regarding delivery time from its 5 mins away to driver stuck in traffic when then us none. This not the first time we’ve had terrible service from this firm. Mistake using them on Uber Eats. They should be removed from all apps. Avoid. Go out and buy elsewhere or choose another restaurant.

I ordered a Donna meat, chips and salad, it was late to be delivered and the Donna meat was rubbery as were the chips as for the salad it was very minimal I found about 7 strands of onion and a tiny bit of lettuce along with one slice of cucumber cut into 4 pieces it all tasted the same as if it’s in the same tray which was full of water. I would not recommend stobys due to this. This is the last time I will be getting from here and would advise others to go elsewhere as there are lots of other kebab shops in Hillingdon.Sean

Ridiculous delivery times and service. Waited over 2 hours still no food and called restaurant for them to say another 10 minutes... What a joke... Don't ever order from this place.

Went there yesterday super excited. Asked them for fresh fish and chips, gosh was ok, chips were not as good and the large portion left me surprised for the small quantity of chips. It’s usually my go to place when I visit but it was T as good as typical. Maybe I went at the wrong time.
