Visited June 25.Reunion meal with son and family after 10 month covid separation. Frankly feeling deflated.Menu small, prices inflated, service ordinary and the food very ordinary. Tummies kitchen needs to up its game or it will surely fail.l honestly could not recommend it.Sad to write this but better to be honest.Interesting to read the owners response,it is obvious that a new business cannot afford bad reviews but it should take note of honest criticism. In truth the owner never spoke to me prior to booking re.new menu as my son who was a regular booked and his recollection of the conversation is somewhat different. We were indeed asked about the quality of the meal once following our starters and our response was muted. We were never asked again during the course of the meal or when we payed at the end.Any one of the three people who served us could have checked and we would willingly have entered into a constructive discussion but it never happened. I stick by my initial review and refute the spurious cross claims.Good luck Tummies, I sincerely wish you well.

Very nice place for dinner and drinks. It is kids friendly with big beer backyard. They served not only fish and chips but there have two types of curry and Italian dishes.

Booked a table for the premiership playoffs, but on arrival they didn't have our names & were reluctant to seat us at a reservered table. After being stuck in a corner, ordered tandoori chicken pannini, no meals were available. A pint of guiness which was a bit odd looking, not a proper head & could see through the liquid. Ordered second pint, head looked like a fried egg, sent that back, tried a carlsberg =battery acid. Food arrived, a burnt mini fillet spoon of onion & a chapati, maybe a new Indian pannini, no, wrong order, £5 a dish more, offered battery acid to make up for the confusion, to much hovering from the staff made it more uncomfortable. Lets see,,, will I visit again......

75.5 per sent. Was Unoccupied but still we was not allowed to place an order because the manager said his staff have a backlog in poring drinks when challenged about the situation was told to leave the premises. By the very rude manger who was not wearing PPE correctly.

·

Great pub and excellent food. I had the fish and chips, and it was one of the best I’ve had. Food is also great value. Will definitely be returning.

Food was nice . This is a nice pub that has started to go down hill since it got refurbished. If you want to go to the toilets in the mens it might be a good idea to bring your own toilet seat as both of them have got either pieces missing or holes in them. The ladies I have been told are no better .Also it can take time to get served at times as the staff tend to look after their friends rather than other paying customers.
