The Railway Arms in Hillingdon

I've never had the worst experience in my life. Staff were so rude. Not a great atmosphere. Would not recommend. Waste of time and money.

Old school boozer, sky sports and cheaper beer than other pubs in the area.

Twenty something years since I last visited the Railway Arms. A lovely friendly welcome, and still such a striking building.

Friendly, traditional, down to earth boozer with reasonably priced beers. I'll be back.

A nice town centre pub. Serves food too. We were in the bar garden at the back of the premises. The only downside is the noise of the trains as they pass by. But then what would you expect from a pub called The Railway Arms?

We only dropped in for a pint. Fantastic night, Kim, Kel, Annie and Paul made us feel like family. Protected us from a local miscreant and made sure we kept warm while obeying covid guidelines 10/10.

The female bartender who also prepared food was very rude, I’m not sure if that was because my parents and myself didn’t look like UK citizen (they had England flag all over), or if she was like that to everyone, but the way she talked to me throughout the whole time was very unfriendly and she made all of us extremely unwelcome here.She did not respond when we said “thanks” every time she brought out food, and she wasn’t even apologetic when she brought “well-done” Steak whereas I ordered “medium”, she said “well, I did my best”.Food, service and atmosphere were all not acceptable. There was nothing positive at this place.

Situated on the main road next to west Drayton railway station, The Railway Arms is a small, down to earth pub with reasonably priced lager and two small rooms with the bar between them. The bigger room includes an array of books, armchairs and a dartboard. There is an outside seating area at the front and the back. The staff are nice.
