V Bar in Hillingdon

Attended a birthday drinks and had a really good night!!!The music was pretty good, and there is a great outdoor area at the back which was buzzing too! The lady who makes the whiskey cocktails was outstanding !!! The Flirting cocktail was delicious. Very good cocktailmaking skills in general. The only thing would say was had to wait a while for drinks so there could be a couple more bar staff working on the busy nights, but otherwise would definitely recommend this place. The waits are worth it for the cocktails!! :) Toilets were always clean with a very polite attendant in the ladies. DJ also played a couple of songs we requested.

What a pleasant surprise it was to stumble into this gem of a place! Great food and even greater company. Lyle and his team of experienced bartenders were a pleasure to be around - the atmosphere wasn't forced and the staff were engagaging. My affogato was amazing... Just the right blend of rum and coffee. Will definitely be back on my next UK trip.

Went in on a Tuesday lunchtime (yesterday). Was me and a couple of friends and Thier visiting mother. Was quite quiet. The service we received was immediately exemplary. Lyle greeted us and immediately made us feel totally at ease. He offered us the choice of seating, and showed us outside, after being seated he went through the menu with us answering questions we had. He got our drink orders and recommended cocktails for us to try.Within a few minutes, Andrew the bar manager had made us some gorgeous cocktails and then Lyle came to take our food order.The calamari was lovely, the chicken wings amazing. The pizzas we ordered were delicious and authentic. The only downside is thy have only a few vegetarian options but honestly, I feel like if we had asked for exceptions or alterations they would have accommodated us. The decor is fantastic, if a little dark inside but the vibe was very relaxed and comfortable. The mural on the back wall a fantastic touch. We thoroughly thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed the visit and without a doubt we will be coming back, probably weekly 😂Thankyou to Lyle and Andrew and the chef for a brilliant time. Absolutely wonderful little gem in the heart of Uxbridge.

Went for the first time with a colleague/ friend and it was just amazing. Lyle's service was absolutely brilliant, we kept on laughing and just had the best experience thanks to him for taking care of us. We hope to come again!!

The food portions are large, and the taste is nice. Wide range to choose from, including vegan, seafood and meat options. Low light, jazz club vibe. Outdoor area too, nice for picturesBuyer beware, if you dine on a busy day, the food can take up to 50 minutes to arrive...

Wonderful, authentic food. Very decent portion and very tasty. I was the only person dining in at the time, the gentleman serving me was fantastic but the lady who took my dessert option, forgot to tell the kitchen. After 20mins I asked where it was and they provided another drink free of charge. This was generous but I would've preferred the dessert be free as I really didn't want another cocktail. I cant fault anything else, the food was truly delicious, the decor and layout had an authentic feeling and I would definitely visit again. I would've liked to have seen a few more pasta dishes on the menu but that's a personal choice.

Pretty place, nice cocktails, calamari starter was lovely. My main (seafood linguine) was shocking. No sauce and missing 3 ingredients. If it at least tasted decent I wouldn't have been so upset but it was overcooked and watery. Couldn't have been further from an authentic Italian. Ended up taking 2 bites and sending it back. Service took ages and we waited around 40 minutes for our starter.Unfortunately I would not return. Ruined valentines day for me.

Came here on valentines and overall a dissapointing experience. First the positives: Cocktails were fantastic, staff were friendly and the calamari starter was amazing. The decorations were also very nice for valentines day.The negatives: the pizza was average, dough was good but it had far too much cheese and not enough toppings.The seafood linguine my partner ordered was terrible. Was missing 3 ingredients from the menu and it had no sauce and was generally tasteless and watery.Finally, the service was slow and we waited around 40mins just for the starter. Usually I would put this down to a busy restaurant but honestly they were not even packed.It was very unfortunate especially on valentines day.I would recommend to come for the bar but probably not the food unless you get the calamari!

I visited Bar Italia for a friends hen party and it was such a great afternoon. We had the bottomless brunch and everyone’s food was amazing! The cocktails were also delicious; we even stayed for a couple more after. Every time I have been to Bar Italia, the service is always great, I highly recommend!
