Cafe Restaurante Moniz in Hounslow

Very nice place to grab breakfast (or lunch). They have great food, good service and very nice deserts! They also have a mini store next to the counter where you can buy European products. Perfect!

Me and my sibling come here regularly and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Family run with an excellent customer service and a welcoming Mediterranean atmosphere.

We were staying at the Doubletree Hotel across the street and happened upon Moniz for dinner. What a great find! Casual atmosphere, friendly and willing service, and really enjoyable Portuguese food that surpassed our expectations! A real gem out near Heathrow.

Excellent meal. I had the seafood pasta. Quite good, but I also had a caffè Cortado and it was the best coffee I've had in quite a while (in the UK)... and the cup was warmed beforehand... Well done.Rui the waiter was also excellent... Very courteous and helpful. Thank you.I will definitely be back.

We celebrated mum's birthday here and the staff were so attentive and helpful. We had the best time. Food was yummy and big tasty portions!

Fantastic food (big portions!) the meal in the picture is Picado. The waiter, Moises (I think) was really friendly, regularly asked if everything was ok and if we needed anything. We love coming here, deserts are amazing as well. And the sangria, we had two jugs ;)

Besides reviews (which can be paid off) how do you know if a restaurant you never been to is actually good?Well one of the way is patrons - if I see Portuguese restaurant with Portuguese customers, that must be a good sign right?Nice outdoor seating area, great food, friendly staff. It was lovely experience!

We drive more than a hour to get to the Moniz and it never disappoints!An awesome place to have a real Portuguese meal, especially a good Salada de Polvo (marinated octopus salad) or the Bacalhau na Brasa (Grilled Cod).Staff is polite and friendly and the facilities are good. To me, there's only one bit to get this restaurant to 5 stars and that is just a matter of improving the quality of the meals by taking down the music a notch and changing the lighting. Those blue lights are not friendly for people with sensorial difficulties. Other than that, it is a good place for a good meal.A piece of advice: always book a table. The restaurant is rather small for the quality of the food so it's always packed.
