Today 9.02.2022 Just bought portion of chips. Extremely oily smelly and hard like a stone chips. The guy flooded chips with vinegar and salt trying to hide poor quality of food. Be careful. Not recommend!

Haven’t been here for years but remember it being really good. Wow what a change sausage and batter and chips completely un eatable chips all rock hard not a soft one in the whole portion sausage in batter not much better. May as well have thrown my money in the bin complete rip off. Won’t be back that’s for sure. Complete disgrace if I hadn’t driven so far away I would have gone back and thrown the lot back in the guys face.DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!

Chips were soooo bad as you can see. No forks. No even napkins. Charged for the ketchup (yes I'm serious) over priced really. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars and not 1 is that the Batter was nice. Not recommended and definitely my first and last time.

I have been going to Chris fish and chips shop since early 80s. When it was run by my friend Chris and he did perfect fish & chips for customers and people came from whole of west London to a well established family run place. Now it’s in my another dear friend called Raj who not only kept the place with same style of cooking but has taken it to another level by fully refurbished but the fish & chips is like Michelin style presentation only that you pay a normal price that you pay elsewhere if not cheaper but the quality is exceptional because he has put lot of effort to perfection without doing any form of short cuts which is a skill in managing that customers satisfaction is the success to running a good business Good Luck to a real Gentleman

This place is very hit and miss lately. Sometimes everything is just right & others a disaster. Have on a few occasions had to return items that were not cooked fully and have had missing items that not noticed until got home. Sometimes food not hot in cabinets and worryingly could cause illness.Be careful if you ask them to salt your chips as they literally throw a ton over the chips. I had to ask them to take them back and put a quarter amount of what he put on them. It's OK if you like a lot of salt but I prefer salt with my chips not chips with my salt.Lately the staff are not as friendly, especially the older man with glasses who tends to take the orders and wraps the food.It's a shame there's no real competitor for them here in Chiswick as I feel they know they can get away with things knowing that they have local monopoly.

Solid fish and chips in terms of pricing, amount, a d wait time. Fish wasn't super tasty but maybe I was unlucky. Good classic chippy sausage.

Fish and chips tasted very bland. Customer service was decent, although they added a random 70p service charge.

The best chip shop around. Opens early and stays open until late. They've got all the usual plus some sustainable fish. I had a large fish and chips for £9.70. I'd eat it every day if I could.

Pricing was good, set of chips and haddock for £9.50. Chips weren’t crispy but soggy. Big piece of fish though which tasted good.Service? Simple, but nothing special to remember.Overall fish quality is excellent but I wouldn’t recommend the chips. Use your own.

Chris, I’ve visited London 5 time in the last 12 years and every time I come to London, I never miss out on having a Cod fillet and a Pack of Large Fries. The Chips out here are out of this world! They’re fat, they’re perfectly crispy from outside and soft and warm from inside. I’ve always preferred having the Cod here and it’s good. Crispy and crunchy coating and moist fish inside. Personally, I’ve never eating inside the store, I’ve only picked up my order and enjoyed it at home with some malt vinegar. And the staff is so humbly, they always throw in extra fries
