The food is good here if your a veggie. However if you order ahead for some reason they don't take a name which makes it difficult if your picking up for someone else and they can only determine based on the food ordered. Just note a name please and also manage the queue of people coming so people don't try to push in.

Love this place for their variety of light snacks and indian sweets. Their bread pakora, punjabi samosa and aloo paratha is a must have and has been consistently delicious over the years. They also serve a wide variety of indian curries and freshly made tea time snacks. Highly recommended place for reasonably priced Indian food.

Customer Service needs a full review and massive improvement. Placed phone order the previous day and the lady asked to call again the next day half an hour before delivery. Did that and then my wife visited place to take order. All ok till this point. Wife was waiting first in queue and a second customer walks in and the lady starts to serve second customer !!! On asking about it the lady response was it would only take a minute since their order was ready but this customer ended up adding a lot more to their order and wife ended up waiting a good 20 to 25 Minutes !!!

Folks from India who know what traditional indian sweets are, won't like this place. Once in a while they do have fresh sweets that can be good like gujiyas in holi season. But I won't advice for other sweets such as gulab jamun, rasgulla and motichoor laddoo. Do try aloo parathas and cutlets, those are good.

I brought a sweets box on Saturday evening from their Heston shop and by end of Sunday evening I observed fungus on the sweets.I called to the Shop and raised my concern but instead of taking responsibility, shop keeper was trying to convince me that their is nothing wrong with the sweets (Typical experience with the Indian shops).I strongly recommend do not purchase sweets from this shop.

Worst experience I had today. It’s my first time visiting to this restaurant, I won’t recommend at all. I have ordered vegetable Samosa she (with brown top & short lady) was giving me which is in counter, I asked is it hot!! She said NO then I said I don’t want. I said one of her colleague was gave hot vegetable Samosa from inside. She tried to sell the old stuff to me, she got from inside but it was not which I have asked she gave another Samosa’s. Then I have ordered 3 pieces of rasmalai & 3 pieces of rasgulla, there was not enough gravy (sweet water), I’m just asking the lady who served to me, will you eat like this!!!! Definitely NO, then how should you serve to guest. Finally! I have asked the bill and she gave me the card machine receipt, I said can you please give me the bill then she started writing on her on instead of giving the computer bill. Total I have ordered 5 things you can check in this bill which she was mentioned only 4 items bill that to it’s not correct amount. I have paid £11.70 total, for 4 items it’s £11.66 then she is giving back 4p change I said please keep with you. She just tried to manage the bill on her own but she can’t. I’m just asking how do you mislead a customer like this??? Sweets are tremendous but I didn’t like at all what she had done with me. Please don’t mislead the customers with manual bills, if you are giving the manual bills please give with correct amount.

I have always loved the veg samosas. Bought some after a while... only to find that they have changed a perfect recipe for the worse. The filling has too much potato and its quite bland. Please go back to the original filling. The original deserves 5 stars new recipe is 2 or 3 stars.

I almost feel like a traitor to the community but it seems the staff don’t pass the message to the owners when you complain. I’ve been using them for years but recently the quality has most definitely dropped. Or maybe other establishments are serving up a more authentic menu . Anyway I personally think that they’ve got so popular and subsequently so busy that the kitchen is rushed to the point that there is no love or pride in the food. When a supermarket microwave meal has more flavour then you wonder why you buy from these people. I normally order two dishes but nowadays find them both sub standard. Even the yoghurt is bland. Had to come home and thurka the food to put any sort of flavour into it. Now I’ve had enough. No more I say. Unless maybe this review has some positive effect. Doubt it though

Nice food but bit pricy then other Indian places. Makki Di roti is not recommended as orders few times and was not cooked properly. Portions are not good enough to the price you will pay. Can smell old oil in pakodas.
