DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London Heathrow Airport in Hounslow

Stayed here on the 27th April, 2022 after arriving at Heathrow late night. Grabbed the Hotel Hoppa for £5.50 and 15 minutes later I arrived. Reception greeted me and check in was very smooth. They thanked me for being a Hilton Gold member and explained my options. I chose the breakfast option since I wasn't in a hurry that morning. They handed me my cookie and water and I was on my way. The room was very spacious and clean. It had a Nespresso machine and the usual tea setup. The bed was comfortable and they had the usual double pillows and singles, which I prefer. Big TV with plenty of channels including music ones also. The curtains were the blackout type and darkened the room. When I woke I went up to the fitness room. It isn't big but it had plenty of equipment. Elliptical, Treadmill, Bike and others. There was also a nice selection of weights to use. Cherry on top? Water cooler!!!Went down to breakfast and was welcomed by the staff. Plenty of hot and cold offerings. Coffee was very good, I use cream instead of milk and it wasn't a problem for the kitchen.I normally stay at the Hilton Garden in next to Terminal 2 but they wanted £180 a night, I paid £108 for the DT. Well worth it.To be completely honest not much of a view :-) but nice little village surrounding it. I recommend the kebab place across the street. There is a McDonalds and Starbucks close by if that's your thing.Photo of view was added for comedic value

Hotel staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely. Was a shame the room was average and the bathroom was below standard in particular the shower head. Also the in room menu post 10pm was limited especially considering I'm vegetarianOverall was ok but could have been much better for a Double Tree Hotel

The staff were welcoming and accommodating upon checkin and in the restaurant. However, there was a distinct lack of communication from staff when the fire alarm was activated on one evening. Overall, the venue is alright for an overnight stop but I wouldn't recommend staying for a few nights as the rooms are a little tired, the pillows were flat and the furniture was scuffed and unloved. Housekeeping did a good job at making the room presentable each day. The location is convenient for Heathrow Airport, Hounslow and connections into Central London. I've already picked an alternative location for my next trip from Heathrow.

The location was very convenient to the bus routes and thus to the underground. A little more inconvenient than the HGI property but way less money. Room was excellent and it did get cleaned and refreshed... Something most US properties no longer do. Full complimentary breakfast for food and diamond members. The bar was very accommodating when I came in after hours and got me a beer I could take to the room.TV was good and the shower was good.

The rooms were immaculate, very clean. However the pillows and bedding were disappointingly thin and I think a three-year old could have done a better job at painting the walls.

Had an overnight layover at Heathrow and so picked this place because it was relatively inexpensive, relatively convenient to the airport and, well, it was pretty. :) The lobby staff were nice and helpful. It is conveniently located to public transit and some restaurants. The room was comfortable and came equipped with an electric kettle, tea, and even milk. The wifi and tv worked. The room was amply equipped with USB chargers. There wasn't a minifridge but my leftover Indian takeaway the next morning didn't kill me. :)The only slight problem was in coming and going. If there was a shuttle to the airport from the hotel, I didn't hear about it, so I needed to pay for a cab. I bought a ticket for a shuttle to the airport, and when the bus pulled in and I asked him if he was the shuttle or a regular bus, he said he was a bus, so I didn't get on, and missed it when it turned out to be the shuttle after all. I did catch the later one, and still made my flight, but it was stressful. The shuttle to the airport is also very long and hits a lot of hotels on the way. So be prepared for that.

A good hotel, good location, close to many shops, and near the airport, but you may need about an hour on foot to reach the big markets and malls to shopping, breakfast was fine, there's a shuttle bus free to the airport

The Hotel is located on the Bath Rd about 15 minutes from Heathrow. Transport connections to the Hotel are very good; the hotel is definitely up to the standard I have come to expect. I certainly was appreciated as a diamond member and received a warm welcome from reception at check in given the signature cookie drink voucher and 2 bottles of water.My room although, smaller than some was adequate. It was equipped with A/C, TV, and a Kettle for tea & coffee facilities, with bath & shower. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is a semi buffet service with table service for the hot food, the coffee from the machine is excellent. The wifi in my room was slow, but adequate for emails etc. The Hotels location is excellent for Heathrow and has a shuttle service available foe a few pounds or London transport buses run to terminal 2 and 3 from outside the hotel. It is certainly excellent value for money.

A great double tree with a very hard-working staff. The bed was extremely comfortable The only possible downside is the hotels just probably due for a slight renovation soon. The lobby is lovely. The parking seems to be a bit intense as they really need you to register your car properly, luckily we had already dropped our rent a car off and had no issues, breakfast was quite delicious
