Hare and tortoise in Hounslow

Absolutely fantastic food! We loved it every time and keep going back whenever in the local area.Okonomiyaki sticks are delicious and the salmon sake sashimi is pretty much at Roka level.We've had different mains every time (unagi don was particularly tasty, as were the different udons we've tried). Can't fault it! Service is good as well - attentive but not intrusive.Love the fresh juices (apple is a nice touch to the standard orange).Definitely recommend and we'll certainly be back in a few weeks again.

Food is ok but not satisfying. It is not reminding me of Japan. Chicken karage was way too oily. Chicken breast in my ramen was dry.. dumplings were excellent this is why I gave an extra star. Miso soup was very basic. Service: no charm, not friendly, no concern at all “how was your food? was everything ok”. It was a joke when we were charged 10% service charge.

I have dined here several times and each time the food has been consistently good, fresh. Service is quick even when the restaurant is packed. Pleasant atmosphere.

Lovely restaurant, amazing food.However, the customer service provided from a old gentleman (Sam) ruined the expect of this restaurant based in Chiswick.Simple reason, I asked to remove the services charge of 10% so I wouldn't have coins and as a single person you are allowed to do it.The waiter Sam was rude, he didn't even know if I was going to leave some coins, he assumed that the tips is a must.I would have happily leave the tips to other two waiters but never to him.

Nice Japanese place in Chiswick, small and cosy, lovely staff ,good menu, fresh food and surprised me how they make and bring the plates very fast ! Ideal to go if you are very hungry and have kids around because they will not wait their food for long . Highly recommend it !

First of, amazing service!! The food came super quick. I had the tantanmen and the okonomiyaki stick.The ramen was solid ; good soup. The okonomiyaki was interesting, but I’ll probably try something else next time

Consistently delicious. Tried a few branches of H&T but this one has been my favourite for years. Pleasant and friendly service each and every time!

Simply our go to place whenever we fancy a nice laksa and sushi! One of the only places that does authentic Japanese, Chinese and Singaporean in town! (Not to mention their soft shell crab is to live for!!) The freshest in the area!

Professional and hardworking staff. Very busy however the sushi is one of the most fresh tasting in London. The tempura prawns were served piping hot and crunchy. Clean tables and atmosphere it gets slightly darker the more you go inside the restaurant. Impressed with the eel sushi which has large pieces.Overall it’s great for a nice lunch or dinner. Solid choice for sushi and Japanese food.
