Island Restaurant - Holiday Inn Brentford Lock in Hounslow

We had our wedding at Holiday inn Brentford Lock on 09/04/22. Everything was absolutely amazing and I can’t thank the staff enough for looking after us and all our guests. They all went above and beyond to make our day so special. A special thank you to Amit Patel and Vanessa Nocera they were both amazing from start to finish.We had great weather on the day and the views looking out onto the Lock were absolutely stunning.I highly recommend this hotel for your wedding, you will definitely not regret it! 😊Michelle and Conor O’Brien

I was supposed to go from Boston Manor station but my train terminated at Northfields, however they are both a short bus ride away, excellent transport links including Brentford station close by. I arrived at around 2pm and was worried as had to be at a function for 3pm. However I was greeted by Chloe and reception was well manned so there was no queue! Chloe was really helpful, had a calming mannerism and made me feel very welcome. I observed the other staff and they also appeared to be proving good customer service too! My room was a good sized room with one double bed! For my other friends her son is over 6ft tall and he felt the bed was a bit short for him. I slept like a baby, the room had an ironing board, iron, and hairdryer. Small selection of tea, coffee infusing decaf alongside a kettle. It would have been nice to have a few biscuits but I’m assuming it’s not something that’s included here. There is an option to have continental/cooked breakfast. I was checked out by Andrea and she was very friendly and efficient also. Due to the good transport links and staff I would visit again. Thanks to all involved!

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. However it took over 20 minutes to fill the bath to an acceptable level. I actually set my alarm early to start running the bath! Breakfast was disappointing. Luke warm food (cooked tomatoes actually cold!) No citrus juice only apple or cranberry. Few options to spread on toast. Mixed fruit unripe. I shall find an alternative next time.

This was my second stay in the hotel. One of the bathroom towels had a hair ball in it, it is absolutely disgusting. Clearly a thing that people should check BEFORE putting them in the rooms. My friend is disabled and while driving me to the hotel wanted to park the car in the disabled bay, which wasn't free, BOTH of the disabled bays were occupied by cars without blue badges, when asked the reception to do something about it, they ignored us. The cars were there hours after we were ready to leave! So if you're disabled, pretty much - don't go there! Your issues doesn't matter. Around midnight the same night some people from the hotel staff, decide it's the best time to shout and argue in loud voices just under my room window, preventing anyone from sleeping for about an hour and last but not least, at 4 AM there were loud bangs on the door opposite of mine then shout for someone to open the door. From the loud conversation became clear that the person doesn't have any identification on himself he didn't had card key for any room, but he was not only allowed to roam around the hotel, he was allowed to go bang on doors and shout!!! Definitely not going to stay there again.TL;DR: Bad hygiene, no respect for people with disabilities, no security, no consideration from the staff. Definitely not going to stay there again.

I stayed here for 3 nights for an event last weekend. The food was of a high standard. The staff were exceptional! They made a mistake with my car parking and apologised and removed from the bill without me needing to prompt. Whilst the event was organised by an outside company the staff still payed a huge level of attention to the service that was being provided for all guests.The venue was lovely and set on the river. The event room had surround windows to enjoy the view of the lock.I work and train customer service and its the little things that make the difference. The staff here genuinely wanted their hotel experience to be the very best and it shone through.

The staff here are just amazing. We asked for an early check-in for 3 rooms as we had to get ready for a wedding. The manager couldn't have been more helpful. We returned at the required time and we all got our rooms 3 hours early, Camila (Cami) was so brilliant and checked us all in very quickly and she was very helpful with information about the area and taxis. The hotel itself is clean and modern and all our rooms are very comfortable. They have everything you need including a mini fridge and a good supply of tea and coffee. Would definitely return and recommend. Thank you x
