Kalamari in Hounslow

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and great service!

Good food, didn't like the service though, grumpy lady , the waitress, she never came to check if we liked our food and she never bothered to come and collect the dishes when we finished or ask us if we would like desert. However they are very polite to English people... well....such a shame as we had high expectations. Very poor customer service . Also the moussaka is not true to the Greek recipe, as moussaka does not contain tomatoes. Old fashion style restaurant as well, very dark and dated

Really good quality, amazing service and cosy nice place. It is been 6 years since the last time I was there and it keeps the same quality and nice atmosphere.

Shame there isn't a higher rating than five stars. Nothing more Greek than the amazing food at this restaurant. The moussaka was clearly fresh as I'd seen it come straight from the oven. We asked if the chef was Greek, and when I saw his beard and complexion, he definitely was. I grew up with Greek food and would know. As well as from the incredible food, which did not go untouched, the service was fantastic. Definitely coming back again.

The food and service here are both incredible. My friend and I turned up and kept ordering dishes with each one better than the last! Keep it up Kalamari!

The moussaka was clearly frozen and microwaved though the staff said it was fresh.We asked if the chef was Greek and the staff said he was but when I spoke with him he was clearly not. I grew up with Greek food and would know.Apart from the unpalatable food which I barely touched, the service was shameful. Never going back here again.

Authentic Greek food in a wonderful buzzing atmosphere. Fresh ingredients and tasty fare. The grilled calamari is perhaps the best I've eaten as was the moussaka. The lamb sovla was very good but not exceptional. Reasonable prices. Quick and friendly service. Great location. We would definitely go back.

This afternoon about 4pm, 3 of us popped in to Kalamari; at that hour, it wasn't busy, only 2 other tables with customers. We had the most DELICIOUS meal outside of Cyprus, where I lived for a few years.The waiter was a young guy who was very friendly, and just for me, he changed the background mixed Greek playlist to just Yiannis Ploutarhos The food and the music took me straight back to my Cyprus days.Two of us had sea bream, which was succulent, moist and delicious, even the veg was very tasty. The third member of our party had the mixed grill and she also enjoyed her meal.Kalamari is a lovely little restaurant, the staff are welcoming, and the food really is SO good.

Kalamari is always our best go to restaurant for any occasion! The staff is super patient with us as we always take such a long time to choose our food (too many great options) and they are always super nice and attentive! This is honestly one of the best restaurants around Chiswick!

It's really nice restaurant! Very calming music and beautifully painted walls. Great service. The foods are very very delicious! I took my partner here for his birthday and he was very impressed with it. I am very happy I found this place. We highly recommend to everyone to try this out! Thank you very much for the amazing time!!!
