Sharky's fish bar in Hounslow

I order take-a-way from Sharkys now & again when I don't feel like cooking for myself It is always enjoyable but today not so good, an awful lot of batter & quite greasy. I have to add something extra, normally a sausage in batter, not because I am greedy but I have to do this for a delivery, I always have to disgard it. It would be nice if there was a smaller portion option for the people living alone, especially the older generation. Thank you for your normally very nice food & excellent service.

Just had cod and chips All I can say It was DisgustinThe Batter on the fish was so hard and dry the white fish inside hardly existed. A year ago this place was fresh and lovely won't be back.

Came in today and ordered a cod and chips lovely and fresh, both wonderful staff are very polite and would highly recommend this to everyone.Thumbs up from me 👍

The fish and chips are so lovely its always freshly made the customer service is so good especially the young cook he's excellent good job guy your service is always with a smile

We ordered food & was delivered by Uber. Battered saugage was missing in our order & when we called Sharkys they said "we had to call UBER about the missing saugage, their drivers could have eaten it". Bad customer service from Sharkys & clearly they didn't want anything to do with their order.

Used to use this chip shop weekly, however, it has gone down-hill massively in the past year. Service is appalling, especially from the young guy on the till. After waiting for 15 mins they had forgotten to start cooking my order. When I then asked to change the order after being fed up of waiting the guy overcharged me but I just wanted to get out of there. Chips aren’t great and battered sausage is soggy. Will no longer be going back, can get much better in the area.

As a floor sander, I need a bit of joy in my day 😁 and lunch here was. Gorgeous haddock and chips that tastes like the way I remember it. Great smiling service too, top marks👍

I visited Sharkys around 8.30pm. I specifically asked the gentleman, as i am under the weather, are the chips and cod fresh. When i reached home, 2 minutes later, the cod was stale and chips jus luke warm. Waste of money as i couldnt consume unhot food because im not well.I am impressed with a swift response to last evenings account which means you must run a hands on business. So thank you for the acknowledgement. Just on the whole, i am not one to take to social media and comment but my wife and children can vouch for me, and was upset as that was the only meal i had (well didnt have) or my stomach could have managed. Will be sure to pop by when im better as im all for supporting local business's thrive.

Best place to go to.My husband and I go all the time. I dont eat fish normally but this place has fresh fish crispy and tasty.By the time I get the chips home the bag is wet and soggy but they still taste gooooood!!!!
