Svadish in Hounslow

I am a regular customer at Sangeetha restaurant as I have been visiting them since they opened. I have always like their food but on 29th April Friday this was not the case. I ordered a pizza uttappam that came without toppings like coriander, green peppers & black pepper powder which are mentioned as the toppings on their menu card. So I returned it & ordered a new one. The new one came with so much green chillies that I had to remove at least 2-3 chillies in each of my bite. After eating half of the uttappam, my tummy started burning due to the chillies. Upon complaining to the manager, he took the item out of my bill and a kind waiter offered me lassi to cool my tummy down. The chef seemed to have deliberately put so much chillies because of the extra work he had to do!! This was not expected out of such a good restaurant.Hope the owners speak to the chef and give him my feedback to read. I have pictures as well but I'm unable to post it here, not sure why..

visited today, food is no doubt very good but hygiene is worst. cutlery always dirty, plates too dirty... today it was so dirty that i went to cashier but he didnt even say a word even after seeing the dirty cutlery. I go there for tasty food but find cutlery always dirty. Planning to go with use-and-throw plastic cutlery next time.

Amazing food as always. Staff are well trained and they care for customers. It gives us satisfaction that they actually are not money minded like some other similar business.Prices are very reasonable.Will always recommend 5*.Jay bhaiWatford

Terrible service the standard of Sangeeta has gone down. We ordered food waited for 20 minutes and was told that the item wasn’t ordered. We were advised to wait 5-10 minutes. There was a strong smell of hot cooking frying oil in the restaurant, and it would appear the ducting and filters in the kitchen may not have been properly cleaned under TR19 standards . Wouldn’t recommend and would not go again.

We ate heartily here - dosa , idli , gobi Manchurian and only came to £15.90 and also were given a delicious mango semolina pudding by Solana . Recommend as good value for money and quality

Absolutely disgusting! They claim to have a food hygiene rating of 4 but we found a rubber band in our food. On complaining they took the price that particular dish off our bill and we were requested to not ruin their day!! Seriously…it was their day that was being ruined by such poor quality food!This was not the only issue we had. We requested our food without onion and received the standard order. We didn’t complain about that.Overall experience was really bad. I thought we were going to a decent restaurant but clearly that was not our experience. Would not recommend this place!!

Excellent south indian cuisine served here. The south indian thali is a great choice if it's your first time visit but don't miss out on the sambhar and vadai, or idli or even the rava or ghee podi dosa. All excellent. And wash it all down with a glass of masala chai.

Restaurant located in the main area opposite to the tube station. Tasty and yummy meals and also for affordable price. Every penny is worth it. Very very crowded and the staffs are very friendly:) No remarks, my experience in the restaurant was very good. Will definitely come back and also highly recommended!

Absolutely love coming here to eat South Indian food! We mention that we are vegan and they happily accommodate us. Blair is super kind, polite and courteous. He definitely makes coming here memorable and a reason for our frequent trips too!Car parking: for those struggling to find space to eat anywhere in the strip, park in Hounslow West Station parking lot. Decent South Indian food. Dosas were ordinary - a little too crispy than the standard ones. But the fillings were very good . Nice chutney , sambar and potato fillingCoffee was ordinary but I loved the steel cupPlease do go in with cash, their card payment min requirement is 20. The owner was very accommodating though
