I honestly couldn’t ask for anything more in a restaurant - friendly staff, incredible delivery, BEYOND tasty food and just the happiest environment!I don’t order any other Indian food now that I have gotten used to Taj Mahal’s food!!! I never usually order Indian food just because of how most restaurants don’t do it justice compared to this.Beyond. Impressed.

Wonderful little place in Richmond, top quality delicious food every time. Great staff service and value for money, always go here after a long days work for a lovely meal.

Don't be fooled by the entrance, take yourselves along the corridor and all the way up the stairs. The restaurant is very nicely decorated & furnished, the staff are lovely & very friendly and the food is fabulous. Will definitely go again next time we stay in Richmond, Yorkshire.

Incredible little curry house right in the heart of Richmond by the riverside. The decor is sublime and the food even better. Would highly recommend, easily the best curry house in the area

Firstly i would like to say thank you to the management of this establishment for joining the fight against food waste by teaming up with “too good to go”👏. I purchased food through the app as did quite a few other locals and it was very tasty and filling ! I couldn’t complain at all. Halal meat served , parking is a minute away . Eat in , takeout and deliveries are available . This is your place for a good curry 🍛! Enjoy 😊( sorry for the poor picture quality but lighting was really bad )

I was really torn about how to rate this spot. The food was definitely only a 3 stars for me. For the price the portions were great and it wasn't bad, but I certainly didn't think it lived up to these reviews. My "very spicy" curry was only moderately spicy and the prawns were the small frozen type one buys bagged frozen at the grocery store (at least in the states). However the service was exceptional, and the ambience was great. I wish they'd had a better beer selection (the wine selection was poor as well but I expect that from an Indian restaurant). I would try it again but not get seafood and probably ask them to ramp up the spice.

I can not stress how much I love going here. The service is excellent and the food is just superb. If I could afford it I would eat here at least 3 times a week. Always feel very welcome. Thank you very much for being here and may you be here for many years to come as I will return as often as I can.

I don't understand the 3.5 average rating. This place is the BEST. The food is sublime AND they will make whatever you want. Garlic and Cheese Naan not on the menu? Not a problem. They'll make it and it effing rules. I also get one of the traditional dishes like Pasanda or Masala but ask them to make it Madras-hot or Jalfrezi-hot. The service is attentive and quick and everything is reasonably priced. If you don't go here for your Indian food you're a fool and your Mom is ugly. Highly, highly recommended.
