The Pilot in Hounslow

The food here was absolutely delicious. I’d recommend the English breakfast and the chia yogurt pot. However, they have limited lactose free breakfast items. The food is also slightly on the more expensive side and the service is quite slow, which caused us a bit of a panic as we had a flight to catch!

We had a lovely meal at Pilots before our long haul flight and so glad we did! Lovely relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of terminal 5, great food and staff that couldn’t do enough for us!

Stopped here during a layover to get a bit to eat. Restaurant looked nice. Food was good (better than I expected at an airport). Fish 'n' chips was really good! Someone at the next table over ordered eggs Benedict and it looks fantastic with beautiful orange egg yolks! Their coffee was really good, fresh and rich! The coffee cream was out of this world good and fresh! We wanted to have refills and we were told that "its not a thing in the UK".The service wasn't as friendly and attentive as I was hoping. It was really on the slow side (the place wasn't even that busy). Hence why three stars.

I was pleasantly surprised. The English breakfast was very tasty and I must say the service was excellent. Our server 'Luci' was super friendly and attentive - thank you!

The burger was simple, but delicious. The fries were well seasoned and perfectly crispy. The mojito was perfectly balanced and the espresso was reminiscent of Italy.

Staff here are very nice, caring and attentive and the place is great if you want to relax away from the crowds of Heathrow airport. Food was okay, but just a bit expensive for me.

Great for coffee and food at Heathrow T5 throughout the day, it’s become one of my regular airport haunts! Staff are all friendly and attentive - Monika is one of my favourites - bubbly and full of energy and she always remembers my order. Well worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed!

Really classy place for breakfast. Even the condiments are really expensive items! Lovely service. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict, it's one of the best I've had. Coffee great too. 10/10. Thank you.

You have a unique opportunity for the price of £2 to ask one of your staff to pick up some proper teabags from a supermarket on the way in, instead of insulting every British person by serving 'twinings English breakfast'. Only giving 1 star because I only came for tea and that got messed up.

Great food with good service. The host was helpful to get me a table with power outlet while I wait for my flight. They do all day breakfasts with different options for eggs if you're not a huge fan of poached egg like me.
