Outrageous prices, terrible value for money. Ordered two “medium” GF pizzas which came to over £40 … the pizzas’s that arrived were lukewarm and no bigger than dinner plates. Expected so much more for my money.

The GF pizzas are excellent and taste absolutely delicious and yummy. Arrived piping hot as well. Just found my favourite GF pizza restaurant to order on Deliveroo. I am a celiac. Thanks very much 😊

Awful. Ordered via deliveroo, took 50 minutes to arrive, begged to cancel after waiting for more than 20, said twice driver was 5-10 minutes away, hanging up the phone, false delivery times claiming it will be 10 minutes, when it's 50+, claiming deliveroo is responsible for the cancellation and refund, then that only a manager can do it, then that it's already refunded.

9:20pm - I ordered a 'medium' pizza. The starting price was £15 on Devlieroo but with extra charges etc somehow i got to nearly £30 - so i added a tab of ice cream not to get charged £7 for missing the minimum order. and at least get something more in the bag. Delivery took 50 over minutes. It's Saturday, they must be busy, not a big deal. I did receive a small pizza box though, with a tiny pizza inside that ultimately cost me £28 in total.When I phoned the shop, no apologies, I was quickly dismissed with a new 'medium' pizza on the way. 11:10pm a knock at the door and another tiny pizza delivered.Dinner is definitely ruined.Note to the kitchen: Every time I had your pizza I ended waking up in the middle of the night badly thirsty for water which does not go away even after drinking 1.5lt of water. You might want to reconsider the salt in the pizza dough.The bitter end: Not worth the wait..definitely not worth the money. Basilico (in general) used to be a great place to order pizza, still expensive but worth it. Not anymore. I will not order from them again as in my experience this is a chain issue not just this shop.

Ordered a medium sized pizza with side, which arrived quick enough, plus the driver had to negotiate a heavy Police presence outside, as there was a situation further down the street!Pizza order arrived hot, and appetising, but just as I tucked into the meal I discovered a long strand of dark hair!I know something like this would not survive the inside of an oven, so whoever boxed the order needs to ensure that their hair is suitably maintained, so as to prevent these added 'extras' from occuring again!

I ordered via their official website for delivery a little earlier today and paid via PayPal. Shortly after ordering I had an email with the subject title "Islington SORRY - Order not transmitted". The email went on to say "We are very sorry to inform you that we could not transmit your order to the store." The email told me to call the shop and to order again or call them and tell them to arrange a refund. I have since called the shop 8 to 10 times and no-one answers the phone. Their official website and google shows the shop as open but there is no response from any of the numbers I have called.Thankfully I paid via PayPal so hopefully they can get my money back.As much as they make great tasting pizza - ONE TO AVOID if you plan on ordering online.

Just awful, I have ordered from Basilico in the past because, although expensive, the pizzas have always been top notch, but not the delivery last night. The Pizzas were undercooked so not crusty, and meagre with the toppings. I have tried to contact the establishment in Islington, it might have just been a rogue employee , but responding to their reply email just stated mail failure, two telephone messages left and no response. So, I have to leave a this review because over £50 for substandard pizzas (3 small, one medium) is not on. I will not be ordering from them again.

One of the worse experiences I've ever had with a restaurant. Tried ordering from Deliveroo at first. It was pouring that day and my pizza arrived completely soaked in water, the box was catastrophic and the pizza looked like a wet mess. Didn't accept it. One month later I thought to myself "maybe it was bad luck, both for myself and the restaurant, let me give these guys another chance". Oh boy, this was a terrible mistake. I did place an order from uber eats this time. Two hours later I'm calling the restaurant to check why my pizza hasn't arrived yet. Basically their response was like this "the delivery guy came by your house, you weren't there, also called you and your phone wasn't working". What a bunch of jokers honestly. This is the reason they use their own delivery guys. So they can not be tracked or traced whether they come by your house or not. 100% fishy restaurant. 2/2 horrendous experiences with this restaurant. I don't even wanna see their name popping up on my recommended restaurants anymore. Stay away.

My wife nearly broke a tooth and choked on the metal nut that fell out of her Margherita pizza we ordered from Basilico Pizza via Deliveroo yesterday. Plus the pizzas are poor quality and absolutely tiny. Do not use, DANGEROUS (and not very good pizza)!
