Bengal Spice in Islington

Previously only used the takeaway service, but we decided to eat at the restaurant with friends. So glad we did, the food was exceptional. Service was very personalised as the owner took you through dishes explaining them in detail and recommending based on personal preferences. It was the best Indian meal we have ever had.

Without a doubt the best Indian food I have ever had. Amazing service, the chef/owner is so friendly and knowledgeable. All of the rice is made using vegetable based Ghee which makes this the best indian in town for vegans. So much to choose from too! You will not regret going here, it is our go to for both sit down indian and takeaway.

Had a lovely meal here last night, really informative staff and had a great selection. It's a bit hidden being on that section of Holloway road but well worth the visit. Looking forward to going again already

I can’t recommend this place enough. The best Indian food I have ever tried. I have been in the restaurant several times over the years, and quality has never dropped. Ali is always available to make suggestions, and recommend the best dishes according to your taste. Don’t miss this place!

This is a wonderful place. Lots of options, the food is super tasty, the staff is attentive and very friendly, and the prices are very affordable. Plus it is bring your own wine (with no extra charge). Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious curry, one of the best I've had in London. I had the Naga masala with potato bhorta and garlic naan. They have a 1-10 spice scale so you can choose exactly how hot you want it. Would definitely reccomend. Lovely friendly owners too!

I can't recommend this place enough. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are always happy to help you pick a good dish according to your preferences and they get it spot on every time. You can really taste all the quality ingredients in the dishes. Nearly all of the reviews on here are 5 stars and with good reason - go to Bengal Spice!

Myself and three friends had a fantastic experience at Bengal Spice, couldn’t recommend enough!BYOB was kept cold in the fridge for us, the service was excellent, and we then ordered four fantastic dishes which complimented each other really well (we ordered after taking the advice of the owner, which was welcome as there is such a large menu). Our vegetarian friend was also well catered for.We will be making this place our new regular.

Great little place with friendly staff and amazing food. Good value for money too. Everything here was clean and the staff gave you full attention. So many options for every palate and catered really well to my vegan requirements. Nothing was a problem. We brought our own alcohol and before tips the food came to around £15 each which for London is incredible! Highly recommended
