So I have to commute in to London fortnightly and stay at a nearby hotel. Found this GEM and now go there every evening whilst in London. Great staff and the food is amazing, especially the chef's pies. 😋

I’d seen great reviews of this pub but stumbled upon it by accident. As others have said, the ground floor bar is fairly small and, on a Thursday evening, it was very busy. Nevertheless the staff were really friendly and helpful, to both visitors and regulars. Good selection of ales and really good prices for the area. The decor is traditional but also smart. Heard good things about the food so will return to try the upstairs dining area. Too busy to take interior pictures and the front is currently scaffolded, so just one picture on this occasion.

Proper little gem of a pub. Super friendly service, great beer and food, chilled out relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful lunch here! I recommend their fish finger sandwich and scotch egg

Really lovely cosy wood panelled pub thoughtfully decorated with lots of plants and retaining its history. Great and friendly bar staff who will go out of their way to make the drink you fancy. Space upstairs hosts comedy nights and the occasional band downstairs. Definitely a place to visit if you're in Farringdon.

Beautiful pub, worth a visit whether you're nearby or not. Well-kept ales, which isn't something to be taken for granted in the pandemic era, and just a lovely place to be.

Not a huge place, and it's quite cramped, so struggled to fit people around the table.Beers seemed like an average selection.Interior is quite quirky, which is probably what it's got going for it the most.Check out other pubs in the area before heading here (recommend The Green).

One of my faves. Almost don't want to rave too loudly about it cause I might not be able to get in otherwise if it gets too busy. Amazing food... genuinely tastes like it's been made with love. Great options too. Lovely atmosphere. Warm intimate venue with lots of interesting things to look at. Amazing staff...always so friendly. You won't want to leave. You literally have to drag yourself away if you are there for lunch on a working day. My tip would be to make it a long lunch! Or just don't leave.

Real "local" atmosphere to the Betsey. Great home-made food and a good selection of ales and spirits. If you're in the area of Farringdon then check thus pub out. Also a live event venue with regular performances from local and well known artists. Checkout the pub to see what's going on, you won't be disappointed.

Really good local pub. With some atmosphere. I attended an event but get the impression that this has a lot of twist customers
