Big Chill House in Islington

Burger was out of this world and service on the bottomless brunch was insane, couldn’t get anywhere close to finished the glass without it being topped up almost immediately. This is THE best place I’ve been for a bottomless brunch in a long time. Get yourself there 🍔 🍹

Found this place on a walkabout with my sister. Really glad we bumped into this bar. The music and atmosphere was amazing, staff were accommodating and chilled out. The food (Especially the massive burger) and drinks were nice.

Genuinely unpleasant experience. The doorman was the exact stereotype of a nasty bouncer, aggressive and seemingly furious at every single person who walked through the door, acting like he was doing us a favour for letting us in. There's a LOVELY smoking area (only nice bit of an otherwise naff building) and... you can't take your drinks there. Amazing. Prices are what you'd expect for London: take out a mortgage before you arrive. Clientelle was also what you'd expect: wasted, loud dudes trying to chat up every girl in your group, not taking 'no' for an answer. We left after less than an hour and hugely enjoyed not being in there any more. We won't, as you might imagine, be back.

Great service by the staff, plus a great variety of drinks and food. Great rooftop seating with OK views. Kitchen closes a bit early for my taste - but otherwise would recommend.

Gorgeous bar with very friendly staff. Ordered burgers and fries that came lukewarm but were delicious. Cocktails were overly sweet but really nice

Rented this venue for a private event recently. Drinks were so so but good atmosphere and good amount of people attending. The bar also has a lovely terrace. The communication at the back office was great when we booked the venue and the bar staff was friendly. The only thing I didn’t leave a 5 star is the the music equipment was not set up/ provided beforehand and it took awhile to setup in the end.

It's a nice place to go if you want to dance. They have a rooftop terrace but it's a bit annoying cos after 11 pm you are not allowed to take your drink there. Nice atmosphere.

Food and beer to die for. I enjoyed the ambiance and I have told all my mates about it so you will see me here a lot. I cant wait to come back. Im missing it already!! Haha.

Love The Big Chill, end up visiting Everytime I'm in London. Relaxed, great food and drinks, all around great atmosphere. The roof terrace has changed a bit since I last visited, but the staff are still second to none.
