I was really looking forward to the Sunday roast and unfortunately it turned out to be below any roast I’ve ever had. The meat was over cooked and hard and the cauliflower and cheese was without taste and just a slob of unidentified mass.The service was poor and we waited over an hour for the food. It’s a shame as the pub looks really nice…

Love this little spot hidden away in Farringdon, don't get to go as often as I'd like thanks to working from home.To me it's s more of a food led place than classic pub, but you can nip in for a drink in the bar area. The food though is very much worth a visit for. Beautiful classic French favourites with a British edge. Always delicious. And the terrace area out back is a sanctuary in the summer.

Great food, a good wine list, a friendly welcome and warm atmosphere. Really enjoyable. Service in the restaurant may have suffered a bit from staff shortage, given the 2 very friendly people serving always seemed to be elsewhere, including behind the bar... our additional bottle of wine had to be chased down via a second request to the Maitre D. But, overall, a fun experience.
