Dotori in Islington

Exceptional experience at Dotori. The service was amazing and one of the party has a unique allergy to sulphites. The manager went above and beyond to look after her and the Chef cleaned every utensil to ensure she would be safe. The whole crew went above and beyond to understand fully about this allergy and cater to it. We cannot thank them enough for their compassion and dedication. The food was exceptional.

Great authentic Korean cuisine at good prices. Love the seafood broth..in fact...I love all their dishes! Yummy 😋Great prices, good value for money and friendly service.I can't understand why other people saying it's expensive. I eat here weekly on a budget.Dragon roll is heaven. Haemultang is wow. Too many yummy dishes to name. Go try yourself. Don't miss out. Oh, cash only.Well done Dotori. 👏

A good small restaurant with Korean and Japanese dishes. Conveniently located. Staff were attentive. Food were hot and tasty. Just make sure you bring cash as they only accept cash.

Great Korean food. A bit pricey, but the quality is worth it. We enjoyed our meal. The reason I did not give 5 stars, is because they only take cash (no cards) which is not compatible with their price point (nor modern times). In fairness, this was clearly communicated before we sat down so there was no awkwardness. I will definitely be returning.

Expensive and poorly prepared food (takeaway). Curry sauce is from a packet and a vegetable and tofu Ramen had but three thinly sliced carrots and 4 undercooked tofu pieces. Horrendous customer service when querying this with the restaurant manager.

Really tasty, very reasonably priced and a large menu. No bookings - just turn up if in small groups. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The turnaround is quick, it is not a leisurely place for a long dinner but we find it perfect for a quick meal after work/before going for drinks.

Decided to try this place after hearing some good comments. Well I have to say it did live up the expectations.The food was ok. Beef soup was tasty, seafood pancake generous but nothing outstanding and finally the Porc Katsu don was bit disappointing. Quite oily, crust was soggy and falling from the meat. I might have picked the wrong dish although it was waiter recommendation...nevertheless staff are professional and nice.I shall come back and give another chance.Not a complain but more an observation: why still doing cash only ?!

Probably the best place to eat! I've been visiting Dotori for 10 years now and the food quality has always been top quality. If you're looking to eat homemade Kimchi then this the best place. The most amazing Korean food you can get in London, hence the reason why they always busy! I have never in 10 years felt disappointed👏🏻

This intimate restaurant delivers fantastic food at great prices! It’s easy to see why this place gets so busy. A personal favourite... the dumplings! These are some of the best dumplings I’ve ever tried, so much so we ordered another round after our mains.
