El Rincon Quiteno in Islington

Great staff and the team were really accommodating. Hasn't tried Ecuadorian food before and they made us a local dish that was not in the menu. Definitely going back again

I visited with friends for dinner upon their recommendation. The owner was incredibly friendly and polite. I arrived first, and whilst I was sat alone, I never felt awkward. Service was attentive and quick. The food is simply excellent. I enjoyed every meal (I had 3 courses). Most of the food I ate wasn't even on the menu but custom made! The price was very reasonable, even the wine was fairly priced. This place is a gem and I will certainly be back next time I'm in London. Many thanks to the owner and chef for a wonderful evening!

We stopped off here for a late lunch on a Sunday. The owner was so welcoming and we received the best service. The food was delicious (we had tapas) and I would highly recommend to anyone to visit this wonderful restaurant

Absolutely delicious food! The Bandeja Paisa was incredible. Hospitality from the gentleman who hosted us was great too. Would highly recommend this restaurant to others and we will be back next Sunday 😊

Amazing food and the staff are so nice.The Manager is great. He always makes such an effort with the customers.He always stops for a chat.I have eaten here a few times and have tried different mains each time.Definitely my favourite restaurant.Recommend the sunday Roast.And the calamari is perfect.The prices are very reasonable.Definitely worth going to.

I had a wonderful time at El Rincon, the waiters are all friendly and helpful and the manager is the loveliest man! Really delicious authentic South American food, very reasonably priced and good portions. It just has such a lovely local feel to it and you can tell they really care about their customers. I'm moving to the area soon and am sure it will become my new local! Couldn't recommend it enough :)

Went there for dinner- it was quite quiet but I'm really glad we went in because the food is delicious and reasonably priced! The portions are very generous- we ended up sharing a few tapas and one main (between two) and were very full by the end. The owner is very friendly and stopped to chat with us for a while. I will definitely be coming back!

El rincon, if I'm not mistaken I think it is the first Ecuadorian restaurant in London and the surprising thing is that it continues to evolve with its new authentic dishes and a variety of tapas, and its decoration is much more contemporary. Now also with a selection of tropical and classic cocktails and a wine list created with a lot of variety. Top service especially with a genuine smile from the owners. Luis Torres and Jose. Jose, Luis's younger brother, worked for many years as general manager at Caprice, a prestigious restaurant from where he brought one of his cooks. I will definitely return for their Dessert.
