Emparo Pizza in Islington

Sorry to say this, but for real, never tasted a pizza that was so bad. Couldn't finish it.

Best pizza I have had in a very long time. Went out for food at least once a week usually, but would like to make this a regular visit. The staff were absolutely amazing! Would definitely go back.

The owner is fantastic, the service was incredible and the food delicious - great place for pizza or chicken (all fast food)

Nacho-style cheap liquid cheese coating on the pizza. Only ordered as no authentic places open.

Possibly the worst most greasy pizza I've ever had

The first time we ordered the pizza was rea good.The second time... Inedible. Absolutely disgusting.The ham tasted like it had gone bad, was a weird grey/pink colour and was so strong, salty and oily, that the whole pizza just tasted and smelled of the stuff. We didn't even bother to eat the pizza after the first bite because we probably would have ended up with food poisoning.No response from restaurant so we had a partial refund from Deliveroo and ordered elsewhere. Refuse to go back here.

I live local and can't believe I didn't try this place sooner. It looked a little rough from the outside but the pizzas are really good value and loads of toppings. The taste is more Italian than the typical pizzas chains but it's also the sort of pizza you fancy after a few drinks

To be honest, I can't recommend this place at all. Whilst the pizza looked great and tasted decent, it gave me the only case of food poisoning I have ever had in my life. It looks like the 7 other reviewers who stated this weren't being overdramatic.

They say that the best pizzas can be found in Italy...don't be fooled ! Honestly the best pizza I've ever had. No other pizza places will ever come close to this little gem in Finsbury Park. This is coming from a person who used to have her weekly Quattro Fromaggi with extra mushrooms for more than a year. I regret nothing.
