Fish Central in Islington

Prices are higher than the menu on google map but overall it was good. We got two tasty fish cakes for free. Everything was fresh but the seafood pasta was a bit mild in taste. Staffs were very friendly.

High quality fish and chips takeaway! I've never walked away with such a heavy bag of food before... super generous portions! Had a great chat with the Egyptian fella serving us who gave fantastic service. Ask him about his excellent vinegar. 👌

I went to Old street for the first time, and we were looking restaurants everywhere to have our dinner but we couldn’t find. But I suddenly in google we found fish central because we always wanted to have seafood. I never regret going to this restaurant, every penny worth and especially the beautiful hospitality that I felt it first time ever since I came to UK, very friendly staff and special Mr. Diego absolutely amazing person, helped us with each and everything with ordering food and explaining us many things. And When Diego came to take the order, my friend told him “it’s her birthday” and I never expected them to wish me with a beautiful dance and a song and I was really surprised. I really do appreciate the hard work and the team work that this restaurant is having and all the credit goes to the management to recruiting a beautiful people with lovely hospitality. The best seafood place that you should definitely go. Thank you Sir Diego ♥️

After years wandering in the fish and chip desert, I reached the promised land, and it was Fish Central. The dine-in option here is a step up from the (very fine) takeaway. I ordered cod and chips with samphire on the side. Crispy batter, chips prepared on site and a light olive oil dressing on the samphire were perfect with a squeeze of lemon juice. It sounds a bit OTT but this simple meal was utterly sublime. Do yourselves a favour, try it, and sit down inside if you possibly can.

Lovely seafood restaurant! I appreciate how they'd recommend the ways of cooking the seafood, plus their 'funky' birthday song! 4 out of 6 tables turned out to be a birthday celebration. So we listened to that funny and lovely birthday song over and over!

We had an absolute blast at Fish Central last night! From the super fresh fish, charismatic and attentive staff and all round deliciousness, it was a complete and utter joy from the moment we sat down until the limoncello at the end. The swordfish and sardines from the specials menu were exquisite and the classic haddock and chips with mushy peas (+ onion rings) divine.

Lovely restaurant situated in a residential area. Wasn't sure what to expect but we was pleasantly surprised with the freshness and quality of the food and also the attentiveness of the staff. The staff was so friendly and super attentive. The food was delicious will definitely be back again

Lovely place with amazing food and amazing patrons. The one waiter who offered us a ganache to share between three of us was perfect and the live music was entertaining. Loved it. Coming back again soon

Situated in a residential area, away from the high streets and main roads, I wasn’t expecting to find a seafood restaurant as good as this.Before my recent visit, I’ve head recommendations from several friends but had never eaten here partly due to the location. Now that I have, I am keen to plan my next trip and work my way through the menu….

Very friendly and helpful service. Food was great, dishes are made with fresh seafood and served in very generous portions. The list of specials were all so tempting. I settled on the monkfish stew and was not disappointed!Can not wait to visit again and bring all the family!
