Great decor with a buzzing, hip/trendy atmosphere. Food about average - a little over priced for meatballs but then again it's not exactly gourmet. Sliders are fun if short lived. I would say this is a place to go for drinks and nibbles rather than dinner. Otherwise menu is a bit on the small side (portions and choice).

This place is one of my favourite date spots in London. Delicious meatballs and spaghetti, and moreish fries. The portions are small, apart from the baked alaska dessert. When they say it's pretty big for two people - they mean it! Also a great place for cocktails with friends in the summer!

Lucky chip burger is fantastic.A quirky and hip bar just round the corner from the more frantic farringdon.I've only been at lunchtime and it was a little subdued and relaxing - like a bar should be at lunchtime. The food service was good and some interesting beers available.

It's a great place for after work drinks, but not only. The food is also good and portions are large. The waitresses are really friendly and will always help you to choose something from the menu. Wide selection of cocktails and beers. Definitely recommend it.

Had the Lucky Chip burgers there which were from the Lucky Chip brand. Meat was excellently cooked at medium-rare but the bread buns were unfortunately not toasted. Price point is quite high but I guess this is due to the setting of the place.

Great decor, nice tables outside, great for alfresco dining in the spring/summer time. Very cool club nights. Food is good quality though slightly overpriced for what you get. Friendly staff, no complaints at all. Would happily go there again, friends have had hens nights there and given rave reviews.

The food here is awesome but a little pricey for the portion sizes. The beer is good though, and they have a selection of international beers.Service when I went the first time was fine but the second time it was a bit slow, and the venue wasn't that busy. It's good for a couple of drinks after work or a quick working lunch during the week.

After the glowing reviews, we popped along for a few cocktails a while ago. It's nice - nothing to come away shouting about but thoroughly pleasant. Nicely mellow though busy, which was good. Sweet chairs and decor, fairly loud but chatty inside and a nice smell of posh fries. Cocktails were delicious and one came in a little paper bag which made me very happy. It's also got a ridiculously cute name about robots, so I'm probably bias.

Been here few times and I can say that Giant Robot is a pretty decent place. My last visit here was about a week ago with few friends of mine, we were looking for a place to grab a bit for 10-15 mins since we were on a hurry. So we came here at this cosy Italian restaurant. Decoration was impressive, old brick walls combined with modern lights. Food was decent, nothing impressing really, seemed like an ordinary Italian food although there was a wide variety of dishes in the menu as well as drinks. Service was a bit slow, but that's to be expected since it was a busy day. Prices as expected - average for such restaurant. Frankly I wouldn't mind coming back to this place.

From the ashes of Match EC comes Giant Robot. It's a relatively small bar but they make maximum use of space and the decor helps maintain a relaxed atmosphere. It was relatively busy when I went but even though we hadn't booked we were able to get a table after a short wait. While the prices aren't super cheap they are okay , and you get a pretty good quality of cocktail, and food. The food is mostly american stryle burgers/Meatballs and sliders (a meatball in a bun).I had the sliuder selection and enjoyed it immensely.Would I go again yes, and I have and would recommend it to other.
