Golden Bee in Islington

Loved this place, roof top was lovely has a little fire pit. Drinks are decently priced considering the location. Music was a vibe loved it.

The staff here are amazing especially Mel the bouncer she was the best and Wilson behind the bar was so helpful! Go you will have a great time!

Always the best night at Golden Bee - The staff are so welcoming, the drinks are delicious and the rooftop is beautiful, you get that feeling of being abroad when you’re right in the heart of Shoreditch!

Came here for a friends birthday. Beautiful venue. Extremely friendly staff over email and at the bar. Rooftop is amazing. Would definitely come back and would recommend. Thank you Golden Bee for a great night.

Wow, what a stunning bar! A real hidden gem in Shoreditch. Really lovely friendly chatty staff with good knowledge of the cocktails and drinks, I love a whisky sour but not many places do it properly, the best whiskey sour I've had in a long time! So beautiful looking over London, nice vibe, can't wait to come back. The espresso martini is great too! X

The golden bee is such a great place to go on the weekend! Drinks are gorgeous (see Sebi and Wilson for delicious cocktails!)

Very nice. Roof top bar was also good not cold as there are sufficient lamps around, good music and nice staff. Good vibe but a much younger crowd

We took a party of 30 and another small group of 5 on Thursday 1st July 2021 to the Golden Bee Rooftop terrace. Had an absolutely fantastic night, drinks flowed and the music was good. Unfortunately the volume couldn't be turned down when we needed to address our group and give out awards.But Kristina was absolutely excellent. She welcomed us and kept our party going. Her service was impeccable. Not sure about the Toilet attendant - bit off putting with him being so close to the toilet whilst you're trying to have some privacy. Would be nice to have a lift, especially when we ordered pizzas from yardsalepizza as suggested and we had to go down to the ground floor and carry 7 large pizzas and 3 regular ones up to the rooftop with those metal stairs/steps. The barman was quite grumpy. There were no specific divisions on the bar and if happened to be in the wrong place at the bar, we were told very abruptly 'I can't serve you there' . Probably would have been better to put some signs up. Unfortunately we booked the space from 6pm to 1pm but the barman turned the lights on and closed the bar down shortly after midnight - bit disappointed with that. Other than that Kristina made us feel special and we enjoyed our visit to Golden Bee - thank you Kristina : ).

The place is nice at the rooftop. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I would recommend to go with colleagues and dress up because the guard wouldn’t let you in if wearing track suit eventhough it looks fashionable. The place is well decorated too. Unfortunately, I went there on Thursday night so there was no DJ at that time. The cocktail recipes looked very creative. I had the pink color one called ‘ like a candy’ and it was very sweet.
