Lovely family store with a husband and wife running it. Decor seem’s vintage and gives a vibe of the early 90’s. Defo a visit!

A most well run affair. A family owned business. A big burley man with very kind eyes that smile and shine with wisdom. Absolutely the best ~ this side of town. Well established and clean. Space is cosy; good to eat while upon your journey. Good conversation and knows each customer. Street level with other local stores along side. Therefore, you are able to pick up a few items to take home of an evening. The fish we chose was out of this world. Freshly cooked and the chips fat and cooked well. With all condiment available, (Tartar sauce, etc.). Hurry, from what we witnessed if you do not get there early they may well sell out of your favourite dish. So to avoid disappointment pop in today and order your dish. It is good to support our local stores or they may well disappear upon us...In this current season we must be more supportive or we the customers will loose out in the end. These are some of the best fried and best *shaped* chips I’ve ever had. Big fat wedge things like fallen masonry. A large portion of them is hard to carry.

Where do I begin the fish and chips I had was cold in the middle was ousing oil and the chips where Cold.My work colleague found his fish and chips a small portion and cold and also oily and the oil tasted old.The look of the whole interior of the shop looked very run down and the lady serving seemed to have a lack of customer relationship and didn't engage with us verywell.I personally wouldn't recommend this place to no one as we landed thorw ares away and get other food this place needs closeing and have remake to be more modern.

Best fish and chips in the area, thick hand cut chips and a massive crispy battered fish. I've been a number of times in the past year and enjoyed it every time.

Gunners have a unique USP, amazingly they cut their chips by hand, which means that when you get a bag of chips you get a full chip all the way to the bottom of the bag, no little fiddly bits and they are really tasty, the amount of work that must take, really unusual.

Really good Fish and Chips joint in Arsenal. It’s an enormous piece of fish of good quality, will visit again when I return to this neighborhood

Sadly the worst fish and chips I’ve ever eaten on two occasions now. Fish has been chewy and cold, even with the odd bone in it. Chips are tough and not crisp or fresh in the slightest. My friends fried sausage was so hard and dried up it wouldn’t even bend. Will definitely not be coming back ever again.
