Happy Dumplings in Islington

New location, same food and service. The mixed happy dumplings is THE order to get. At its price point it's great, just don't expect Michelin star food.

Happy Dumplings, is a wonderful small eatery that does great Chinese food. The dumplings are wonderful every single thing we ordered was top quality and the service from the owner was 5 star. You can see she cares about the food and keep her patrons happy and well fed.Want a table for 7 and haven't booked, she'll do her best to accommodate you, it's that kind of place. It's cash only and I like that in this day and age of exclusionary contactless only dining out. So, outside of being prepared for that get along, you'll enjoy it.

I absolutely love this place and the value for the amount of food you get is beyond compare. I’m so glad they’ve found a new home and I hope they’re able to continue business as usual. Pork noodle soup is my go to. It’s incredible.

I ordered special fried rice, chilli beef, spring rolls. (nothing fancy) Wow! Totally blew me away. Delicious & very satisfying.

The best egg fried rice 💯 we tried some dumplings and noodles and these were also delicious.

Amazing little restaurant with incredibly friendly staff and food that tastes authentic and prepared by people that really understand it.The crispy pork belly is one of the best ones I ate since visiting Hong Kong and the buns were soft and tasty as they should be.The place is moving in the new year and I’ll be sure to visit again as soon as they do.

I don't know why this place has such good reviews.We tried all kind of dumplings and buns, and they were obviously all frozen (like the rest of the food in the menu). But the taste was so bad, we had no idea what we were eating.A bit overpriced for a full frozen menu.I'm sorry to say that the waitress was nice but with barely understandable English.The reason I'm putting 2 stars and not 1 is because we didn't try noodles or rice.Only cash doesn't help as well.

This was so far one of the best Asian restaurants I have ever been.The food was amazing, we took various things and everything was delicious!!!The dumplings were the best dumplings we ever had in our life!!The staff was hard working, and tried to provide the best service during a really busy time.In particular one lady was amazing, she was really nice and at the end of our meal offered us a delicious dessert (custard bun) 😍Everything was perfect, and we had a really good time.I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area! 😍Will definitely come back soon!!
