The food was mediocre for the price they charge. The service was so-so. Would only recommend to go if you’re having a stroll in the area

We have had a fantastic brunch in Hideaway, lovely vegan and vegetarian options and delicious coffee! We have enjoyed not only the food and beverages but the service, atmosphere and the décor! What a lovely way to start the day!

I love this place. Truffle Croque monsieur so delicious so do all their pastries/sweet. Great service too!!

I am a huge fan of HIDE, however our visit to Hideaway was a so-so experience. The bagel was on the low side comparing to other bagels in town. The lobster roll was okay, but nothing special. Overcrowded with people too. Better go to HIDE and enjoy a proper experience.

Absolutely lovely little café on Mount street. Very casual yet elegant and quirky at the same time. Ordered the avocado on toast which was absolutely delicious - they served the avocado on grilled sourdough and sprinkled edible flowers on top. Service was great and very efficient.

Incredibly mediocre, overpriced, and genuinely disappointing. Inattentive and slow service, our truffle croque monsieur came without the truffle (which had to be pointed out) and tasted like an ordinary/average croque monsieur. The waffle stracciatella with black truffle was well done which did soften the overall bad experience. When the bill came, we were asked about our meal which was then greeted with “hope you’ll have a better day” hahaha. Thus, can now conclude it time to give up on Hideaway.

Food:I ordered the croque madame, I liked the egg how it cooked however, the toast was burned leading to a burned taste. I enjoyed the middle of the toast, it was yummy because it is not burned.I like that they have various origins of coffee, that you can choose from.I have ordered Ethiopian beans with milk. It was ok, it could be even better if the barista steamed the milk with a 60-65° instead of making it extra hot ( the barista was informed already that I need it warm not extra hot).Service:Welcoming could have been better. The waiter was very nice and helpful and the waitress came to me if I would like to add any order before they close. However, the team was not organized very well to manage the place. in addition, the barista attitude wasn't professional.Things need to be organized better to provide a better service that could match the beauty of the details and the prices and the level that the business is targeting.Atmosphere:I like the details of the place, music and the ceiling lighting.

Loved the lively ambience however was a tad disappointed with their coffee. I ordered a decaf latte which was waaay too bitter and it was difficult for me to drink it. They had also a huge range of food and desserts to choose from. In my opinion, it would be lovely if the food items were covered in case someone coughed, sneezed or talk animatedly in front of it....

Their coffee didn’t meet expectations (bitter, dark and no balance)- although they claim they have the best in town.Their pastries were really good ( impressed with the sausage roll in terms of pastry and the actual sausage mix).Their sandwiches are on the expensive side , but I guess no one of their regulars bother.Croque Monsieur didn’t deliver ( the bottom slice of bread was full of oil from the cheese and hard )Attentive staffHas potential to become a good place with attention to details....
