Holy Chinese Take Away in Islington

Absolutely the best Chinese takeaway in North London by far 👌 . The food is so tasty and so enjoyable. I Absolutely love ordering from here and have done so for years and will continueto do so for years to come. The prices have always been great and the portion sizes are amazing also. 👏

Arguably the best in the area, what has always let Holy down is the fact that you *still* cannot pay with card.I believe we have all overlooked the shortcomings of this takeaway. In recent times I’ve received rice that is burnt, ribs that are mostly bone and very questionable customer service over the phone (the lady can be very rude for no real reason). Food is also priced very awkwardly meaning you often withdraw almost £5 more than the meal. For one, you could easily rack up a £22 meal which of course means your withdrawing £30. I hate over-withdrawing and paying by card solves this issue.Overall I would recommend Holy to everyone however they need to keep up with the times and get a card reader, work on keeping the quality of the food high and work on their customer service.

Hi I would like to say I had my first experience with this Chinese on Friday night I had a beef chow mein it was like they poured a drop of water and added a splash of soya sauce this is the worst Chinese I've ever been to in the last 20-years don't get me started About the Spring roll I had to rate this one star to get on the ratings it does not deserve one star I recommend anybody who wants a decent Chinese go to the golden Valley on York Way Just off Camden Road this is an amazing Chinese I would give it 5 Stars I will never use this Chinese in Holloway. I would rather the 10-minutes extra drive up the road to the Golden Valley Trust me when I say I've been eating Chinese for a long time.. 💩💩💩🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Chicken curry 10/10 not that thin slimey chicken like 90,% of take aways, but nice big chunks of breast. Prawn balls amazing. Friendly staff even when they are rushed off there feet . Love this place

My favourite Chinese take-away Food Shop. Very friendly and welcoming staff who always greet their customers like they've known them for ever. You can ring up in advance to place your order, you are told how long it will take to be ready. The food is always to an excellent standard. Excellent service, excellent staff providing tasteful flavoursome dishes.
