John Salt in Islington

Lovely ambience, good service..New menu from yesterday. Cod and triple cooked chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. Classic burger with curly fries. Maybe a little more seasoning but good.

Great service and amazing place to work from!! Their space upstairs is very cosy and allowed me focus on work better than I’d do at the office. Fantastic!

Lovely place. Went there with me wife and kids for brunch. Food was spectacular and the environment was great! Even the kids had a blast runnin around and poking innocent fun with the lovely staff! Not to mention, the drinks were lovely too! Would highly recommend, cant wait to visit again!

My friend had a birthday party at The John Salt. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. It was refreshing to see that they catered to all dietary requirements. Looking forward to my next visit.

The cocktails were lovely, I unfortunately only had half a burger as I wasn't that hungry, but it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long while, I can't wait to go back.. Lucky we stumbled upon the his place

The Chicken Katsu burger with curly fries was AMAZING! Wish I knew about this place sooner.

Absolutely wonderful bar, extremely well run with really friendly and helpful staff! Planning my event was effortless with Jordan taking care of all details and Jamie and the team running out flawlessly on the evening. Nothing was a problem, they were super attentive, helpful and kind despite it being the last Saturday before Christmas and very busy! Food came out on time and was delicious enjoyed by all guests. Was very surprised just how nice and easy going a plush bar in Upper Street could be, but this was it! Would definitely plan another event here in future. Highly recommend.

Good place to chill with friends and you can even watch Wimbledon here. The lady at the bar is very helpful and welcoming. Though the chai tea I tried isn’t very good, their beer and cocktails might be nice probably?
