"Welcome to the best fish & chips restaurant in London Kennedy’s brand was established 150 years ago, originally renowned for our sausages and throughout the years we have build up our reputation. We serve fresh fish from British waters and therefore our seafood is of the utmost quality. This site has been a fish restaurant for over 100 years and Kennedys have been here for the past 9 years. We also have freshly baked traditional pies made from fine ingredients which are a popular choice with our diners. We've recently added a full 100% plant based menu, offering many options for vegans. Don’t just take our word for it, pop down to our restaurant in Barbican or order online for the best fish & chips in London."

Delicious and brilliant service. Cod was really well seasoned with a great batter, great size, well cooked and good value for the high quality. They accommodated my half salad half chips request too. Highly recommended chippy!

Ordered via Uber Eats - possibly the best fish and chips I have ever had. The lemon butter poured over the fish was absolutely unreal. It wasn’t greasy in the slightest, and arrived steaming hot. Huge portions too! Already looking forward to ordering again.

Best fish and chips in London, I had good delivered a few times during the lockdowns but it's well worth taking the time and dining in as the restaurant part is everything a fish and chip place should be. Highly recommended 🤩

Delicious seafood platter, all tasted fresh and delicious even at 9:30pm close to closing time.

Best fish and chip shop in Farringdon. Much better than The Fryer's Delight!

I would say that it is OKish. The fish and chips is OK but a tad bit expensive compared to many other venues. Has a good variety of pies. Service is OKish again, depends on the day and who is working. Sometimes very welcoming other times very speedy and abrupt. The best option is to download "Too Good To Go" and buy their leftover bags that are a lot cheaper! Only thing is that you get what is not sold before they close!

KENNEDY'S GOSWELL FISH & CHIPS RESTAURANT.If you want a proper fish and chips, this is the place. By proper I mean fresh fish (it doesn't smell fishy) properly cooked with a batter not soaking in oil and home-made chips, not the sad tasteless frozen ones. They also do their own Tartare Sauce and their mushy peas are very yummy..The young lady who was in charge was very helpful and professional as well as her colleagues who looked after us vey well.

Kennedy's is delish, we used to get big orders for work treats once or twice a year. Went after recently moving back to town and made a mistake in using the online ordering system. It was never accepted after about half an hour of waiting (and after paying) and I went to the shop to confirm. They were lovely about it and the manager got my order sorted - go in person or call ahead, avoid the online platform!

Usually pretty good and is our go to fish and chip place. But our most recent order wasn’t the best. We ordered and paid £5 extra for a large piece of cod but the piece we received was tiny! The portions used to be so much bigger and great value :( such a shame

Gone from being the best fish and chips shop in London to the worst, In a matter of weeks....oven chips with black patches now, over the loverly fresh cut chip before look at the soggy oven chips in the picture. Worst I've ever had, on my last visit, was a loyal customer for over 5yrs, going nearly weekly, never going back. The new owners who look as dodgy as hell are obviously trying to squeeze more profit out of the place using cheap ingredients. shockingly bad food now and atmosphere isn't much better. Food went in the bin couldn't even eat it such a shame.
