Le Sacre Coeur in Islington

Wonderful food and service. Great atmosphere. I'm thrilled it is still there - I used to visit 22 years ago when I lived in Islington, and always go there if we're in London. It really does feel like a little bit of Paris in England.

Excellent food in the heart of angel! Very well priced and the food is absolutely delicious. Would definitely be back again to try more things from the menu.

A fabulous meal to celebrate a birthday- food was absolutely delicious, set menu great value, and staff could not have been more helpful. All said these were the tastiest dishes they'd had in a long, long time, even the vegetarian diners. Would highly recommend!

Amazing food!!! Me and my husband call ourselves food travellers- we love to travel and we love to try new food and search for a little gem restaurants preferably away from city centres. We found this place by accident and OMG!!! food experience was absolutely unbelievable!!! Starters, mains, desserts- everything really delicious. I had a moment similar to the one from "The Ratatouille" movie, where the food critic was trying food and memories from childhood came rushing back- I had it when i tried my dessert- caramelised apple tart!!! Absolutely unforgettable flavour!!!Price was reasonable, service was nice and friendly- looked like a family run restaurant.

Dinnerware was dirty, tablecloth was something like plastic fabric and tables were so close to each other, it was like we were taking lunch with people of next table.On the other hand the food was delicious, the meat was tender and the sauces were sooo yummy, I've founded sautéed potatoes too garlicky for me, although my boyfriend loved them.The staff could be more smiley.The outside area was so cute, I wish it wasn't so freezing outside so we could eat there.

Always a nice atmosphere in this restaurant it's a nice bit of calm away from the hustle and bustle of upper St. The food is always beautiful and very filling served with a nice cold beer or red /white wine. The staff are very attentive and friendly too I recommend this place for special occasions or just a quick lunch .

Good French atmosphere, lunch deal is very cheap with a lot of choice. The rabbit civet was good but the onion soup was slightly too salty

Surprisingly found this little french restaurant. Very south french style, and food are very tasty!

I was meant to go elsewhere for lunch - glad I stopped here! The service was attentive, the food was delightful - even the espresso deserves a mention. Perfectly cooked tender entrecôte, and very reasonable price for a very lavish meal.

However, be sure to check what you want to eat against the set menu price as what we ordered was less individually than the set menu. The staff were great agreeing to charge seperately.Great cooking. French tastes. Good scenery. Good service. Highly recommend.
