Macellaio RC in Islington

We have been at Macellaio several times. Best meat in London, excellent quality and service. Alexis took great care of us and made us feel at home.The only observation we have to make is that the portions are a bit smaller (misto imperiale is the one we always get) and the prices have increased in general.However, I still recommend Macellaio if you want to enjoy some great meat.

Nice place with chef Roberto at the head of the kitchen, a boy with golden hands! He made me the best tartare I've ever eaten! Very knowledgeable, professional, with good manners and welcoming guy. His cuisine has character to spare!I will definitely come back next time I come to London! :)

This place is amazing. Great tasting T-bone steak with chips that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Try their 2 for 1 margaritas as an aperitif and just enjoy the night. The staff is so polite and Roberto was so very welcoming and showed us wine off the wine list and knew exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for a great dining experience! We will be back.

Lovely place to be in. Food is really good and worth the price. Our meat was cooked perfectly at medium-rare, and the taste was overall balanced. Atmosphere is friendly and the staff is also very polite and sweet. We truly enjoyed ourselves today here. Recommend to anyone looking for a good dinner in a relaxed and friendly environment.

We went for the Fiorentina and it did exceed expectations! The meet was super tender and juicy. The service also great with Roberto always happy to spare some good moments with us :)

Excellent place! I was there for happy hour, but we stayed for dinner. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Daniel, the manager, and the waiters Sole and Emanuele in particular were outstanding! If you want to enjoy your dinner in a nice and vibrant atmosphere, I highly recommend this place !!

Whenever I want some nice steak and unique starters, this is my place! The food is delicious, the signature drinks are really nice and the staff is simply adorable. I particularly like the tartare and the lard bruschettas, and also one of my favourite dishes is the tuna tataki whenever I feel like not having meat. Thanks to your lovely approach I have become a regular client and often go to this restaurant to celebrate events!

A wonderful and great restaurant. You’re greeted by the door and the staff is very attentive. The menu is made to look like a newspaper, where you can scan the QR code for a wine list.The food is delicious! You can get Italian fine dining and prime steaks at one spot.I’m definitely coming back.

The restaurant is located in a nice and vibrant road. The chef at the entry was welcoming and suggested us the best meat, that was divine, and prepared a delicious dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommended!

Meat lovers’ paradise.The Fassona beef is the star here. Matured for a very very long time. Best enjoyed as a shared rib of T bone.Pasta and Tuna dishes also available.Great service, always, from friendly staff.Daniel ordered in some off-menu Bottarga (tuna roe) as I mentioned how much I had enjoyed it on a previous visit.Great wine list with excellent house wine.Not cheap but then true quality never is.
