I don’t have a strong palette for food, but this sandwich ignited my senses! I could taste so much and it was definitely worth the trip. The dessert was delicious too.

Phenomenal phenomenal food. Exceeded all expectations. I will dream of the wings and the Ham Egg n Chips until I can return again. Negroni shot was a new take for me, but definitely worth your time. And James was a super hospitable host. This place knows how to take care of its guests. Thanks to these guys for making a place that makes amazing food and an atmosphere that will leave you wanting to come back for more. Also, the music was on point. Come here. You won't regret it.

Felt right at home in here. Loved it.Need a better waiting room than the pavement, but added to the quirkyness of this great place. Had chicken wing starter then ham, egg & chip sandwich with a bottle of wine. What can go wrong. Thanks for a great experience.

Lovely local sandwich place! We got it recommended by some friends and it didn't disappoint! There are sandwiches for all tastes! And the cider is proper!

We have been wanting to visit Max’s Sandwich shop for as long as we can remember, and TODAY was the DAY!! 🤩A very cool sandwich shop in Crouch Hill, a small yet constant queue outside speaks echoes for how good this place was going to be!Inside, awaiting you is some of the friendliest and nicest service you will ever receive! Honestly, the lads working today were absolutely top notch - funny, helpful and just looked liked they really enjoyed doing what they do!! Decor around the shop is eye catching and often very very funny, you find yourself being drawn to something new between each bite of your sarnie! ✊🏻👏🏻The menu was right up our street - interesting, fun and full of different flavours and textures! It genuinely was difficult to make a choice, but it just gives us even more reason to go back again and again!!Our fave things: the sandwich was truly epic, every bite felt like it chucked up new flavours and combos… if you go to one place for brunch/lunch in the next few weeks, make sure this is it!!📍🚇| 10/12 mins walk from Finsbury Park station.

This is it. The bomb 💥. Most fun place to eat in London. Was walking past it many years ago and it was yet to open, I asked about the place to the man I now know to be the magnificent Max Halley. “Do you like booze? Do you like sandwiches?” enquired Max, “I do!”. Was in later and it’s brilliant. Expect awesome sandwiches, good booze, brilliant service (with some wonderful swearing from Max) simple decor with an emphasis on ducks. Not going to recommend any particular sandwich 🥪 over another - they all rock, as does everything about this dining experience.

Lasagna Sandwich at 📍 @lunchluncheonRating: 🤩🤩 Delicious & will go back againThoughts 💭Every so often you get a shop owners personality that just shines through a whole shop. That crazy level of personal hospitality that makes you just love independents and that passion always shines through into the food. Now, this is a sandwich. You won’t find me buying a sandwich very often… it has to be special and this was. Fantastic bread and plentiful fillings. The range is small for options but at least you know every ounce of heart is going between each of those slices of bread.Dres silky bechamel lasagna sandwichMutton bolognase, silky bechamel, pickled mirepoix, baby gem and chicory, nduja Mayo, crushed deep fried macaroni.Reviews by @thefoodiestraveldiary.

Love the vibe inside and good music. Didn’t have to wait long for a table. Incredible silky bechamel sandwich! Max has crafted a magical place here. Service was great too. Already excited to return.

What fabulous sandwiches!!! Absolutely outstanding. We had a side of wings to start, which were perfect. So crunchy, with a fantastic dressing and slices of pickled onion (beautiful pink ones, not the brown ones you get from the chippy!)Then the sandwiches - just amazing. If you go, try everything that's on that days menu. The focaccia was light as a feather and the fillings - Ham,egg & chips; Chicken Caesar and lastly Spring rolls. They were a revelation.Service was fabulous and the whole place has a really friendly and relaxed feel.Dog friendly too, which is an added bonus.Make plans to go, as it's somewhere far too good to miss.
