Mega Bite Cafe in Islington

Generous portions food served quickly but parking in area only 30 mins

Best cafe I’ve ever been too, go here all the time. Friendly staff and lovely food 10/10

ordered two number 4 breakfasts but one of those without the black pudding. We got charged the same even minus one item. I questioned the east european lady about this and she said it was the same price with or without the black pudding! at this point the 'chef' intervened and said I could have something to replace it so mushrooms were ordered.The toast came out way before the food and was very pale and it tasted like margarine and not butter was used.The tea was a bag in a cup.The sausages were deep fried.The bacon was scorched and dry.The eggs were hot plated and flipped so the inside was like snots.The bubble was mushy and had undercooked onions in it!The beans were ok.3/10 topsnever again.

I popped in this morning for a 'Full English' and cuppa tea and left about half an hour later, an extremely happy and satisfied man. Despite its very traditional menu, it is the sheer quality and quantity of the food - and extraordinary value-for-money - which sets 'Mega Bite' apart. Mention must be made of the extremely high standard of cleanliness, which is beyond criticism. The 'restroom' especially was spotlessly clean - a welcome change from so many other high street cafés. All this, and very friendly, courteous and efficient staff too. The inhabitants of St Luke's Vicarage, virtually next door, need never go hungry with 'Mega Bite' on its doorstep!!! Without doubt, this restaurant is well worth a visit when serious hunger pangs attack.

Very friendly local cafe, the owner and his family give a warm welcome, food is cooked to order, offer a great value (unbelievable value) English breakfast with different variations. Make sure you try the bubble and squeak, a good day starts with that in your breakfast with a good strong cuppa!

I like this place. The staff are friendly the food is good for a cafe all the basics are there for a good breakfast or a takeaway bacon roll and coffee. Most of the ingredients seems ok quality wise and it's clean tidy and quick. Basically a good morning stop to cure the hangover ;-)

Really disappointed - arranged to meet a friend here for lunch and a catchup. Clearly advertises Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on the shop, and there were A-frames obstructing the pavement, but was closed at 2.30pm. No opening times displayed so guess they open and close as they feel like.

The food is very nice here but since the change of ownership the prices have been put up to far. The same quality of food can be had for at least £5 cheaper at other local establishments.Very clean place and the waitress are very nice.
