Amazing food, huge menu, from pizza to kebabs, to pasta and cheese boards. Really lovely place, always super busy but wine is great so it's all worth it

Service and food was amazing. Chicken wings were flavoursome and grilled chicken was nice and juicy. The chilli sauce 🤩🤪 the right amount of heat but so much flavour. If they sold it I'd buy it. Would definitely recommend Mez and Laz to anyone. Had the lunch menu starter main and dessert. 4 stars only because the daquari could have Been stronger (personal preference) and not enough bread for the amount of hummus.

Nice cosy restaurant in the heart of Islington. Food was amazing and service great!! Had their Christmas menu. The only downside was the chairs were uncomfortable.

Love love love this place. My partner and I come here all the time. They treat repeat customers ridiculously well and have spoiled us while being there so much.The vibe in the place is great and they cook meat incredibly well. You won't be disappointed with any dish you get here honestly but recommend anything with chicken or lamb. And the filo parcels are out of this world.Definitely support this place.It's also really easy to take someone to walk in because they have so much space even if it doesn't look it from the outside.

A friend recommended me Mem&Laz for their veggie mezze, which was plentiful and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It consisted on 13 different things served with warm bread and was just enough of everything. Very satisfying and flavour full, especially the tabbouleh. I also had the baklava and it is one of the best I've ever had. Very good prices and service. 100% recommended.

The food was surprisingly impressive and well cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable.Who knew this bundle of goodness tucked itself away so perfectly in Angel? Excited to revisit!

Like this place as they do halal food . Enjoy eating the wings mash and salad for starters and lamb fillet and rice and salad for main and the banoffee for dessert 3 course meal is £14.95 which is really good but had to pay extra £17 something service charge for 3 x 2course meal and 1x3course meal.
