The Beijing Fried Rice is really good and a generous portion!

·

Terrible quality and no value for money. They over charge and you hardly get any meat in the meal boxes. Much better value elsewhere on top of that the portion sizes have gotten smaller. The owner is rude and money hungry and doesn't care about customer satisfaction. Would avoid at all costs

I ordered from here and once I got back to my flat and opened the food container, I found a letter from the owner saying that they were going to start using MY kitchen to prepare meals because there's was being "reset entirely" I am mostly disappointed that the note was directly on my food and the ink had saturated through the paper and onto the meal. Otherwise good vibes ✌️

Do not order from these rude people and the food isn't good tasteless the owner is rude don't give them your hard earned cash even a can of coke dont buy it go archway omg it's 10/10

Bad attitude from staff, they take no responsibility for their actions and have such arrogance towards customers. Use to order there but that alone put me off, especially when it's not the BEST Chinese restaurant around........The owners response just proved my point. He just lied that I always order and not pick it up. Secondly, going through all the comments you will see the owner responds to insult every customer who gives them a bad rating, so it's a habit, they take no responsibility. This is the same owner who beg me to try and give them a good review since I usually order online. I was using the online service to cost me a bit more because such poor attitude. SHAMEFUL.

Having tried many times to find a decent Chinese , I found Taste of Shanghai - which I am led to believe is the same place ?Either way the food has been consistently good - honey ribs excellent, crispy seaweed also excellent and other than one time when the crispy duck was less than crispy, I’ve been very satisfied with this place. I also tried their Singapore noodles which were spicy and tasty - so many worse places than this I can assure you !

I’m a long term customer of the Neighbourhood Chinese Takeaway on Hornsey road for over 10 years. Since back in the days when nice Chinese lady used cook fine fried chicken. I’ve noticed the quality of the food had dipped since the change of management. But I continue to patronage the place for posterity and to help our local neighbor business prosper in these difficult times.Sadly the costumer service has deteriorated to the point whereby it’s not worth the bother. The cashier was so rude over the phone, I was aggravated enough to take a walk to the shop to make him aware of how rude almost to point of racist he was over the phone. Simply because they couldn’t deliver a £20 order on Saturday 13th of February 2021 It was obvious he would never address me in that manner if I where to be a white customer. I was born and bread in London. I know racism when I see it and you don’t have to be white to be racist. One of the delivery staff tried to be apologetic and assured me he will talk to him and try to make thing better next time around. But the cashier was too obnoxious to see that he was in the wrong. I cannot bring myself award a single star to establishment but you can’t post without doing so. Avoid @ All cost!!

Terrible customer service, they don't accept cards either, the food isn't good. Just avoid this place.

Best old school Chinese restaurant in the area. Ordered 3 dishes tonight (Crispy King Prawn Noodle, Shanghai Fried Rice, and Sweet and Sour Chicken) and they were all excellent!Ignore the negative reviews, I'll definitely be ordering from here next time.

Thank you for an amazing service from back 2013 and I know times are different now but you always delivered the best crispy duck. You were always so kind to give me extra pancakes for the duck and I have to say it’s one of the best shops for Chinese food in the area. The food was always done in time and you could always give a good estimate for the food. I always want to visit and grab something when I’m visiting London. Love it. Xo
