A group of 6 of us popped in with 2 toddler's in tow to see if they had availability for lunch. The staff were super helpful and even though all tables were reserved they managed to squeeze us in. At no point did we feel rushed or an inconvenience, the food was fantastic and all washed down with a great selection of drinks. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area 👍

First visit last night, super atmosphere, great food and very helpful staff (especially Michael). Considering they only had one Chef on last night, really efficient service. The chips were hot, fluffy & perfect, the veg as I would cook at home and the Beef pie...wow. A long way out for me, but would deffo go back. Well done - a pub that does it 100% right!!

An amazing place to go for evening drinks! I’ve also been during the day to do some Uni work, it was a nice and relaxing environment, food was great and not forgetting the staff, they were so friendly and welcoming. Hats 🎩 off to Fabio, Ciaran and Jasmine for making me feel so welcomed.

Slowest service ever- thought it was a joke. Food: mediocre and bland. Took forever to arrive despite us being one of the only tables in the pub. Extortionate prices- ÂŁ7.50 for a soda water mixed with grenadine! Then waiter had the cheek to ask if the food tasted good!

Attended this venue last Thursday for birthday drinks. The service was exceptional, the shift supervisors (Jasmin and Fabio) were very professional adn attentive. Many thanks for the service. We will be back soon :)

EDIT: After raising the issues below we were contacted by the management team and apologised for the issues. We have since been back and had a nice meal and some well poured Guinness. Would rate 5/5 except for the initial confusion around bookings with children so would check with management before booking.ORIGINAL: We made a booking online for dinner and mentioned that we would have a baby with us, requesting a seating area that could accommodate it. We arrived just after 7pm and our friends had already ordered drinks and were looking at food but then were then told very abruptly that we had to leave by 8pm.Understand completely if you don't allow babies after a certain time however we booked in advance, checked online for any exclusions for children (which just said to mention babies in booking), mentioned the baby in our booking, were taken to our table, ordered drinks, and then were told we had to leave. We were told we had to leave "around 8pm" due to strict licensing laws. I assumed if they were strict then there would be a strict cut-off and not a loose approximate time.No empathy shown by the bar manager, however bar-tenders were very nice and poured a great Guinness.

Great Sunday roast with exceptional service. This is my second time coming to the Bull for their Sunday roast and I've been impressed both times. We had a mix of vegetarians and meat eaters and everyone was very happy with their dish. Highly recommended.

Amazing service and tasty cocktails. Took an impromptu visit with some work colleagues for after work drinks. We were seated immediately upstairs which we had to ourselves, we were served by James who checked in on us frequently, he was so friendly and attentive. Will surely be visiting again

Terrible roast dinner, honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had.We were pre-warned that food would take 40mins…no problem we ordered bread and dips & wine. (Should of been complimentary but what ever) 45 mins later we had only had water - no sign of our bread or wine,After 2 hours our roast dinners arrived with only 3/5 things promised in the menu listing. The potatoes were aunt Bessie’s at best, none of the sides promised on the listing were there - plus they only had hot dog style mustard to go with the beef. It was really shocking for £17,50!!!The waiters for inexperienced and not good at managing such a disaster which made it worse but eventually they did take both roasts off the bill - still had to pay for the bread though lol.Don’t go here for a Sunday roast ever - not worth it.

Great pub with excellent bar staff. Came in Monday 15th November at around 8.30pm.We only popped in for a quick one and ended up staying till closing. The music and atmosphere was fantastic. The two guys behind the bar were attentive and welcoming, even with a pretty busy crowd the service was quick and efficient. If my memory serves me well their names were James and Mike.We will definitely be back again very soon.
