Singer Tavern in Islington

Stumbled upon Singer Tavern, which was unexpectedly top class! Nicely designed interior, and an excellent beer selection. Particularly pleased to find bottles of Cantillon on the menu - great stuff! Shows that the team here really know what they're doing with their beer selection. I'll be returning very soon

Best to visit mid week when there's a more diverse crowd in. At weekends the Singer Tavern time warps back a decade to an era when men wore Abercrombie and Fitch, white trainers and fade haircuts. Similarly the women all have mermaid hair, baby doll dresses and pole dancer platform heels.

Great pub! Plenty of beers on tap, loads of staff on so good service, nice atmosphere as well.

Cannot recommend the space for hire downstairs enough. Great space, perfect for a private event. We had my partners 40th party there, and everyone loved it. So accommodating, cool decor and finish, great selection of drinks, and a special mention to our guy behind the bar. Nothing was too much for him to sort and served with a smile and good humour. Made her party very special and a night we and our guests will never forget. Thank you!

Good food and excellent selection of drinks. Can be a bit of a wait to be served though but I think all places are struggling to gauge right staffing levels as things return to normal.

Cosy pub with nice drinks! It says it is open until 1 on Google but were a bit disappointed when we tried to get another drink at 11:15 and they said they’d already taken last orders (we’d been in there a while and they hadn’t announced/ made it clear)

We had an amazing wedding party at the Singer back in August. Can’t recommend the venue enough if you are looking for a central London location for any type of party or event. The decor is great and required minimal additions from us which was a bonus. The food was fantastic and great value, all our guests commented on the selections...they really have something for everyone covering all dietary requirements. Great selection of drinks on offer too!Another added bonus was being able to have the pub beyond midnight. We found most other venues we checked out in the area weren't able to go past 11 or 12.The team working on the evening of the party were great, nothing was too much trouble. Alice was simply fantastic making sure everything ran smoothly on the night and throughout the whole process

Wow, what a great little find. So glad a friend of ours recommended a visit here! The Old Fashioneds were excellent and my friends really enjoyed their drinks too. It had a good atmosphere to it and I loved the top and bottom floor as well. The bartender downstairs, Allie (I hope!), was really nice and friendly and I'll definitely be back to enjoy the downstairs atmosphere too.

Great food. Nice and quiet due to covid. Staff were super friendly and quick to serve. Lovely atmosphere too. Will definitely go back.

Nicely done out, much better than the last incarnation. Good lighting. Tastefully done tiling. I like the grapefruit in the gin and tonics. Well impressed by the amount of beers on the menu. Decent bunch of staff. Will come again.
