I went in maybe two weeks ago and was served by the wonderful Ellie and Corey, the are both so lovely and made me an excellent Chai latte. What an asset to the store !

The worst Starbucks shop. WiFi never works. When I queried it, an oriental looking staff Sid to me, “no it’s working but people are using it. The music is playing. “ it’s the most absurd comments I heard. You mean in other stores, people don’t use the WiFi and no music playing? There are six students upstairs. After they left, I still could not connect. Come on, don’t be ridiculous. I also don't get why they had to lock the toilet. Reading from others' reviews seem to suggest they didn't allow people who were not "customers" to use it. The fact is anybody probably could be potential customer or probably a previous customer. We are living in a civilised society and for a huge mega company to "behave" in such a manner is a disgrace. I believe this has nothing to do with the company's value but rather a individual shop's decision. Perhaps, to make their job easier. No respect for such individuals.

Great service from the woman who wears glasses, mainly her smile and positive demeanour. She must be the manager.

The female staff doesn’t even let me use the toilet for a minute when the toilet is available. You are human, and I am human. I have purchased coffee in your store multiple times, and this is the service that I can get when I need help. With what you did to me, I hope there is no toilet nearby you when you want to go to the toilet suddenly while walking on the road. Also, I will not purchase coffee in this store anymore after experiencing such terrible service.

Following on from the Starbucks toilet debacle a few years ago, this morning at the Angel branch - after finishing my breakfast on the ground floor, I enquired on the ground floor because the disabled toilet on the ground floor was locked. I saw it being opened with a key for a non-disabled customer minutes before. A Starbucks staff directed me to go up to the first floor & use the toilets there. I went up, by the looupstairs was another Starbucks staff, who saw me try open the loo door without success. I had to ask her, only then did she say go back downstairs to get a code. I went back down to the same guy on the ground floor, asked for a door code & immediately went back up to the first floor. The code wouldn’t open the door, the same Starbucks lady was still by the loo, said she thought someone came in in the last minute. I waited, then knocked & asked from outside if someone was indeed inside. Getting no reply, I went downstairs again & requested the guy to open the downstairs loo for me as it’s now my third loo request to him. He eventually opened the downstairs loo nonchalantly. I’m BAME, neither of these 2 Starbucks workers is. My desperate bladder can’t tell the difference between racism & sheer incompetence. You though, can choose to go to better cafes dotted around Angel, or soil yourself by the Starbucks till - it might just be the only training they eventually learn from.

A Starbucks with a stunning, stimulating atmosphere! There was a homely feel to the branch. The branch was clean and very hygienic with social distancing measures strictly in place. There is always a wide range of products available and of course is a worldwide brand with international recognition. The customer was excellent and the staff were very friendly and provided an efficient service. I ordered a Caramel Iced Frappe and at £4.05 whilst it was slightly expensive, it was delicious and deluxe. Normally, there are plenty of seats and there are toilets available. The branch has plenty of facilities and I believe there is an outdoor seating section but that has been closed since March 2020. Overall, I strongly recommend that you visit this Starbucks branch!

I like this ‘tardis’ Starbucks, it’s one of my local Starbucks. It has a stimulating atmosphere and upstairs there are a lot of seats and space and people sit there for a long time. There are lots of plug sockets upstairs if you want to plug in your laptop or charge your phone. The staff are pleasant and cheerful. There are more comfortable seats upstairs than downstairs and they have a few seats outside if you want some fresh air. It is much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. The only snag is that you need to watch the step upstairs, I’ve been caught outside a few times. Also, watch the stairs because they are very steep, I’ve seen a young lady fall down those stairs. There are toilets upstairs but you will need a combination to use them.
